“I have purchased several items over the years from "Hacienda". Ilon is extremely knowledge about the provenance of the item and her prices are always "right on". She is a pleasure to do business with and I highly recommend her.”

“We have been searching for a perfect coffee table for our living room that brings a special touch to our space. We ended up purchasing a beautiful driftwood inspired table form Golden Coast Burls and are SO happy with with our decision. The customer service from Rob and his team truly exceeded our expectations. Rob, the founder of GCB, carefully and thoughtfully helped us hand pick the perfect wood and table that worked with our space. I would highly reformed Golden Coast Burls if you are looking for a statement piece that will last a lifetime. Thanks Rob and team !!”

“It was probably appropriate that while visiting Echoes of Opal for the first time, I missed the alley and found myself seemingly locked into a secure parking lot. There were automatic gates that closed behind me. Jamie noticed my plight, somehow, and after she stopped laughing yelled out from the friendly side of the large fence, “What are you doing?!” I’ll never know what prompted me to ride my motorcycle into that sensitive, secure parking lot (the actual alley was right there!) and get temporarily trapped, but thinking back, it was akin to Alice going down that rabbit hole. Echoes of Opal is a looking glass. It’s an art studio, a working shop, a laboratory. Once inside, you will discover all manner of wonderful things. Antique cabinets. Boxes. Figurines. Candelabras. An old brass bed that’d be perfect for a couple newlyweds up there in Toronto. Or, a pile of old wheels. (If you ask Jamie about them, she’ll say something like, “Landing gear for a Zeppelin.”) She and Billy scour the roads for nuggets so we don’t have to. They’re damned good at what they do. Go there. Tell Ms. Jamie I sent you. If you just wanna poke around by yourself, that’s no problem. If you have ideas for a certain something, she’ll either have it or she’ll work on getting it. She IS Alice in Wonder Land. She just has wood stain on her fingers and/or chipped paint flakes in her hair.”

“I have used Indigo Interiors to provide design advice over the last 15 years, and I always find Genny and Tom to be exceptionally helpful. They are very knowledgeable, have an intuitive understanding of what fits your environment best, are always on-time and highly responsive to your requests and questions. And patient. Plus they are just plain fun to work with. In addition, to design advice, I have also purchased a variety of items from them ranging from furniture to lamps to accessories. Their merchandise is very high quality and is unique and original. And, you can't beat Genny's design sense and exquisite taste in materials and furnishings. Sophisticated, yet warm. Individual, fun, stylish, but never trendy.”
