“Mark built our house in 2014 and we have a beautiful house, meeting all our expectations and more. We did while being out of state, through emails and pictures. It worked! The craftsmanship was outstanding. Building a house is a long sometimes challenging process and overall it went well. We had some up and down but that is totally expected for such a huge endeavor: asking a stranger to materialize the most expensive vision you ever had in your life... In the end it all worked out. He came back to fix a few things (which is normal) and we never had to pay or argue about it, he took care of it, no question, and that is special! I would totally work with him and his team again if we ever build another house. I would have no problem recommending him to my best friend or family. Great experience, great house, love living in it!”

“Homoly Construction is the premier environmentally focused builder in the region. We have been blessed to work as a vendor / subcontractor to Homoly Construction on several projects. On this LEED Certified home we provided the bamboo flooring. If there is an environmentally focus home being built in the Kansas City Metropolitan area Homoly Construction and Davidson Architecture seem to be building it. USGBC LEED for homes, HBA Green Home certified they build them all.”

“You will not find a more professional, diligent, and talented builder in Kansas City other than Dobbe Dobberstein. He is the most supremely organized individual...friends were always jealous of the detailed paperwork he provided weekly -- I still refer to it today! Our home ended up winning Best Custom Home in "X" price range by KC Home & Garden, what an honor! Dobbe stands behind his work too...any small issues that would arise over the years we've been here, he'd take care of immediately! Best choice in a builder...ever!”

“We have hired Terravest on several occasions to do remodeling and renovations for us. They added a bathroom to our basement and walled off a room there. Also did work on the exterior of our home, and helped us reconfigure the kitchen so we could replace a stove. Most recently they replaced an outer double door and outside siding after some moisture damage, repainted the interior. We hired them originally several years ago to do the basement after getting several quotes and considering feedback from former clients. Their work is top notch, but most important, J. Stewart and his team listen to our needs, offer multiple options, and helped us decide on what we need based on our budget and desires. He never tried to over sell us. Several times I have just called him for advice on issues related to our home and he always helps out and even will come over to the house to make suggestions, many times that do not include using his company. He and his team are absolutely top notch - we recommend Terravest to others all the time. We will work with them again.”

Greg, his crew, and sub-contractors were creative and yet budget conscience. They were courteous and prompt. And they gave us the house that we hired them to design/build/remodel.”

“Mack Colt build our house in 2012, closing date of Jan. 2013. He had secured an old home in an old neighborhood that was a tear down candidate. We purchased the lot from him and contracted on a custom build job similar to another house he had recently built. Mack and his team are truly experts in their field. They take steps to maintain quality standards that were beyond our level of knowledge--simply because will not put their name on anything that is not of the highest quality. They completed the project on time, on budget and went above and beyond to make the project as painless as possible.”

“I writing this review on Cardinal Crest based on our dealings with the company. We worked with Joe for a couple of months while we were trying to decide on a builder for our new home. It was a very difficult decision, but ultimately we chose to build with a different company. With that being said, we had an extremely positive experience dealing with everyone at Cardinal Crest, Joe in particular. We would absolutely contact them again if we were going build another house, and we would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a quality home.
