“Tom and Scott built this great house for us about 8 years ago. They were involved from design and of course through construction. With over 7000 sq ft, we had lots of questions and challenges for first time we had a house built. They were terrific and we felt that we got a good value and great advice throughout, plus quality construction. Important too was that they stood by their work and do so even today. I know that if I had a problem with this house that was even remotely related to construction that one quick phone call would bring them back and they would take care of it. We did have a problem several years after construction and they fixed it at no cost to us. We have also had some remodeling done by them and they are great. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. I would attach a picture to this, but do not see a way to do that.”

“This is a photo of my tiny house. I custom designed it with Donnie. He was great in making me bring my design ideas to life. He was able to incorporate and custom build my tiny home to my specifications. We completed it and it was fully NOAH inspected every step of the building process and certified upon completion. It is fully insurable through foremost. It did require a 550 size truck to move it d/t height and design style. Every aspect was left up to me to make it my own. I chose every aspect of design style. I love my tiny home!”

“24 years ago, I promised my wife that if we were able; someday we'd build the home our dreams. When that time came, we were so blessed to find Aaron Wallrath to work with. “After interviewing in depth 8 custom builders and checking with 4-10 previous customers of each of the builders, we picked Joseph Paul Homes. We got glowing comments back from the 10 previous clients of theirs, but, for us, what sealed the deal was that Joe Vastano from the very beginning really got our vision and really, really listened. He didn't just paraphrase back what we said, but, instead, used it as a stepping board to understand more by asking questions and by suggesting possible improvements on our ideas. We went to Joe with a collection of room ideas and a general sense of how we wanted the pieces of the house to come together. After many sessions in which the design kept getting better and better, we finally signed off on everything. We are almost done with the building. While we had certain expectations about the house, we have been continually blown away by how much prettier it proved to be, mainly through the collaborative process of the four of us (Joe, my wife and I and Joe's on-site project manager David). Our neighbors love our house too, which makes feel good. This is our first and (given our age probably last) full custom house. Let me warn you here and now that, having lived through it and having spoken to a couple of dozen people who did as well, building a full custom house is as incredibly stressful as the result, hopefully, is well worth it. While I've long lost count of the sleepless nights of worry about this or that, I have David to keep me sane. I tell everyone that David is "my number 1 destresser". We email or call or talk to him 4-6 times every day. Usually, after talking to David, I realize my worries about some feature were misplaced and the current design is already the best. Still, many times we have found things we want to change and David always has creative ways of helping us figure out how best to implement the change. If we lived a thousand lifetimes and Joe and David would live them with us, we'd pick them again every time. (You would not believe some of the horror stories I have heard from people who made the wrong choice when picking a builder.)”
