“Golden Eagle built our retirement house in Montana. The house is roughly 3600 sq feet, although the living space is 2500 sq feet. The house presented several challenges not the least of which was the topography of the lot. In addition, the plans called for an elevator, a greenhouse, a shop, and a tower to take advantage of the view. We also wanted radiant heat and universal design for an "age in place" design. All of this might seem ho hum, but the house was built over the Internet, via email, and photos; we are living in Virginia and, as I pointed out earlier, the house is in Montana. Golden Eagle's attention to detail, straightforward business practices, and excellent suggestions were enormously helpful. I don't think that we would have attempted an "Internet house" without Golden Eagle. Would certainly hire them again, but I think this is our last house.”

He was very good at walking us through each phase of building the home and discussing our options. His construction expertise is showcased in the way our home looks and the craftsmanship is top notch. I would also like to highlight the fact that Brent has a team of outstanding subcontractors; from Excavation, Concrete, HVAC, Plumbing, Tiling, Timber Frame Joinery, and Electrical to interior design and staging. The highest level of craftsmanship and design was given to our home and Brent either did the construction or oversaw the entire process. His passion for custom home building is what enabled us to compete in the Parade of Homes, sponsored by Helena Building Industry Association (HBIA) and win best kitchen for 2021. I highly recommend Cotton Construction for building your custom home and reaching out to Brent and his team early on in the design process will be very advantageous.”

“Caddisfly is a one-person business (resourcing to appropriate skilled workers, artisans, craftspeople as needed.) Can't say enough good things about owner/manager's professionalism, flexibility, integrity, and creativity. By project end date he will have done total remodel of living/dining room, kitchen, two baths, entryway, and closets. Owner/manager has been a partner with me throughout this process—and I intend to contract with him for future projects as well. On site, he's so aware of "the little things" like cleaning up after the day's work, and respecting my space/property! He's a gifted collaborator and encourager. He's well-resourced and has excellent assistants for specialty work. This is my first home-remodel and I couldn't have picked a better associate. I look forward to working with him in the future.”

“We hired Dane to be our contractor to build our home from the ground up. From the time we met Dane, we knew he was the right one for us. He was very knowledgeable and asked us questions that we never thought of so that he knew exactly what we wanted. He also has a great personality and doesn't mind that we are always on site and will be working side-by-side with him to do some work ourselves. Our house is still under construction & Dane is very hands on and is doing a lot of the work himself. He always makes sure that it is done correctly and no short cuts are taken. Our blueprints had our basement stairs coming out too close to the wall & he brought this to our attention before he started building them. Together, we redesigned the stairs to flow better as well as resizing a room that he saw was too small on the blueprint. He communicates with us well. This really made a difference! If it wasn't for him catching these measurements on the blueprints, we would have not been happy with the results. The Inspectors know Dane's work and have said that they don't have to worry about him, it'll be right. We would highly recommend DTS Construction! We wouldn't use anyone else. He is very trustworthy, always has a smile on his face, and his crew is awesome too!”

“David did a great job replacing 5 windows in my house in September 2018. He was super responsive, started the day he said, and got the job done on time. Even after he was finished, he came back the next day to touch up some paint work and look at one of the window mechanisms for me. Windows, wood work, and trim came out perfect. Couldn't be happier!”
