“We hired Karma Home Designs to renovate our bathroom area, refinish hardwood floors, paint the entire house, and change the conventional hot water heater to a tankless electric water heater. Karma's crew did an excellent job converting an old one-unit tub shower to a frameless walk-in shower that now looks like a million dollars!! Also did a very nice job painting the entire home and refinishing hardwood floors that had deep cuts and numerous scratches. Our home feels more spacious and bright. Karma's managing partners are young, professional and have the knowledge to propel them to greater heights. They are personable, honest and worked well with us to make our vision a reality! Karma's strength is working within the budget. As in every renovation project, there were some delays and hiccups along the way but Karma worked diligently to address those issues. Will not hesitate to recommend Karma, and we would use them again!!!”

“These guys completely remodeled my bathroom, and it looks beautiful. They made adjustments and allowances for my 95 year old house and kept me updated along the way. I had a plumbing issue that was not part of the contract but they were able to fix the problem and work through it. They were always friendly, helped me choose tile colors and design, offered suggestions, and were generally very easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any home improvement projects you may have.”

“We've had two jobs done by Tom and Bev and been more than pleased with both. The initial job was a remodel of an existing home office/guest room and adjoining bath. Three years later we engaged them again to replace our dilapidated garage with a two story free standing garage/shop and upstairs studio/guest quarters. The latter project has elicited praise from all the neighbors, and many passersby have stopped to inquire who did the work. In both of these instances we were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of both Beverly the architect and Tom the builder. Bev really listened to our concerns and worked with us to try out different approaches until we found the design that fit our needs and desires for the space, giving helpful advice and pointing out things that we would not have noticed until too late. She shepherded the project through the permitting and inspection process, making sure that no issues with setback or height restrictions arose. Tom was involved in every phase of the construction, dealing with suppliers and subcontractors as well as keeping us informed with daily email updates on progress made, problems encountered, and what the next step would be. He worked with us to achieve our design goals while staying within budget. Living in a construction zone can be stressful, but Tom's crew were great. The guys take very real pride in what the create. They went about their business with a minimum of mess and were always careful to keep the disruption contained. At the conclusion of the garage job we had an open house and invited the carpentry crew and their families. I would not hesitate to recommend Beverly Thomas LLC for one second and have done so many times.”

“The contractor was very knowledgeable and experienced in replacing of my front porch. The job was done in a professional and timely manner within a reasonable budget. Also, this contractor was hired again in August 2015 for addition work. Planning to hire this contractor again in 2016.”

“Comfort Builders redid our master bath. They started the project when they said they would and completed it on time. Baja was so helpful in helping to designing the project and giving recommendations on materials and suppliers. Emails, texts and phone calls were answered promptly. The affected areas were straightened daily to cause as little disruption to the rest of the house as possible. Once they completed the master bath we had them come back to do some exterior painting which was completed ahead of schedule. I have recommended Comfort Builders to friends needing remodels. I will use them again for future projects.”

“This husband and wife team were able to bring to life a powder room I had envisioned but couldn’t make happen. I had seen a sink and pedestal on Houzz and Pinterest that I loved but couldn’t find in the states. They were able to duplicate the design at a reasonable cost and pull together the rest of the bathroom for a complete look. Their communication skills are top notch, their employees were there when they said they’d be there, always neat and cleaning up as they went along.”

“We've been working with Rudy and Freddy since 2018 when they renovated our Great Room. They laid down the wood floors, installed new light fixtures, stained our beams, built and stained new steps and installed railings, and painted every room in our house! They are professional, timely, and clean up each day! I would highly recommend them, and when we're ready to renovate our kitchen we will be calling FRP Construction!”
