“Completely renovated our log cabin. They came in and demo'd it. Removing the drop down ceiling, making the whole log cabin 1 big gathering room (the lodge) with cathedral ceiling. They moved the stairs leading to unfinished basement (now finished), replaced all the windows in the log cabin, new ash flooring, new kitchen cupboards,added kitchen island, and countertops, notched out logs to fit new appliances. Also finished basement with new bedroom, laundry room, family room, bathroom and my favorite, "a craft room" from what used to be a "cluttered hall". Also added slider walk out door to patio area and outside shower. I have pictures from beginning to now, but don't have them on my work computer, can supply from my "patti.lou.who@hotmail.com" account upon request.”

“We have employed CDN for 2 renovations on our VT ski condo. The first was after we purchased and involved a large scale reno. The second was smaller but required Carm to take over a job that was initially started by another contractor (CDN was not available initially). This contractor was a nightmare. For both jobs, Carm was the ultimate professional. He helped in planning and design, asking the right questions and providing great insight. His work was meticulous and detailed, with great communication throughout each project. He even helped me move the furniture! He was on time and was respectful of our needs and wishes. He finished both jobs clean and ready for use. Our satisfaction was off the charts!”

“This was the fourth project we have worked on with Reap Construction. In each case we were very satisfied with the work done and overall experience. In this particular project there was a lot of coordination with subcontractors. Joy kept them all on task and schedule and made sure we were happy with the results. “We hired Gulfield Contracting to repair several rooms in our home. The house had multiple areas that needed repair to the ceiling and walls. We had a plumbing issue that required cutting holes in our living room, bathroom and bedroom. Gulfield Contracting came to our rescue!! They did an outstanding job! The quality of their work was exceptional. They were extremely careful not to get the spackling or sanding dust on our existing carpet. I wish I had taken pictures of before and after the repairs because when they finished the job you would not know that our walls were torn apart!! I would highly recommend them.”

“We met the Sisler Crew during a home energy audit. To say the least they were a breath of fresh air. Always thoughtful, eager to help, and extremely professional. “Salamander Construction remodeled a circa 1940's camp for us at Lake Dunmore, Vermont. I highly recommend them. They did an excellent job in a design/build capacity. They took a seasonal cabin and transformed it into a 4 bedroom, 2 bath 4 season home, new kitchen, new bathrooms, new electric. The home blends perfectly with the surroundings. It is now so well insulated that we can keep it very livable with just a couple of logs in the wood stove. Jed and his workers are all very professional- and they left the property in excellent condition. Jed currently acts as my property manager and prepares the property when we want to visit in the winter.”
