“Home renovations are extremely stressful - especially the renovation of a diamond-in-the-rough hundred-year old house in a neighborhood with many fine examples of well-preserved hundred year old houses. I looked at the result of several renovations before hiring Carol - what was obvious in her work was a deep understanding of the technical challenges as well as a love of understated, elegant design and an eye for detail. I made the right choice. Carol's sensitivity, approachability, and unflappable resolve rescued the project. “I chose BKW Architects (Keegan Winkeller - Principle) for my full gut rehab project in Edwards, Colorado in summer of 2019. The scope of the job was to create final working plans and renders, etc. for the remodel and present to the Design Review Committee of the HOA for design approval which required a stamped plan set. Keegan has a really good eye for design and has worked on many very high end residential projects in the greater Vail, CO valley. His 14 Plus years experience in architecture along with his previous background having worked on construction projects (remodels and new builds) gives Keegan an excellent insight into really how projects need to be approached and managed both from a design, execution and budgetary perspective. His depth of knowledge and ability is superior to many in the field. He was most professional in all our dealings, during and after the project completed. I would definitely recommend BKW for any such projects and would hire them again on future projects. It was truly a pleasure doing business with BKW.”

“My wife and I decided to undertake the daunting task of designing and building a beach house in Baja, Mexico. We hired Robbie Dickson with Equinox Architecture because of his strong experience designing second homes for families. Even though most of his prior work was from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado using wood (very different from the coastal deserts of Baja), we felt comfortable that he would design a fabulous getaway for us. We were not disappointed. Take a look at the photos and you can see for yourself. It was a great experience all around. The builders who didn't speak english commented that they were the best architectural plans they had ever built from, the easiest to follow and with all the appropriate details called out to make building go smoothly and efficiently, even in a foreign country. “Sandy did a great job of listening to my husband and my needs, and she designed a great pop top for our Denver Square. There were many hiccups along the way (but what home remodel doesn't have one!) and Sandy went above and beyond in making sure our issues were addressed and fixed. There were many occasions where an issue would arise (foundation wasn't good, we needed more money for framing, etc) and she would provide a solution, and then explain the problem and the solution together. Sometimes the solution had to have more money, but there were occasions where she would figure out how to save us money as well!”

“I hired Earl Anderson for two different projects and have been very pleased with the outcomes. One project was drawing up plans for a dental office and the other was for a basement finish.
