We also wanted to update the interior, making it more inviting and use-able for our family needs while still honoring the feel of this century old home. “We worked with Samantha to design and reconfigure our master suite. From start to finish, Sam was super pleasant to work with, and went above and beyond to insure that we were happy with our project. Sam was a great listener and communicator and incorporated all of our wishes into her design, while introducing us to new innovative ideas. She helped with the selection of all materials, worked seamlessly with our contractor and designer, and gave great attention to detail. “The centerpiece of our home renovation was a floating, black walnut spiral staircase envisioned by Jibe Design principal Juliet Whelan. It is breathtaking, and brings architectural distinctiveness as well as light into our row home. The project also gave us several more feet of precious space thanks to the removal of a chimney we did not realize was behind a wall. Whelan came into our space and saw all kinds of fresh possibilities, but also succeeded at learning and honoring our aesthetic. It was a pleasure to work with Jibe Design. From start to finish, we appreciated the design sophistication, professionalism and good communication.”

“Cindy was our architect for a tear-down/rebuild of our home. My wife and I found Cindy to be very insightful and creative, offerred us lots of options in design, and never expressed concern or hesitation in drafting or constructing some complicated elements we wanted in the home. She brought knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, but most of all comfort to a project which could otherwise have been a stressfull experience. “Jeff Spoelker was excellent through the whole process. My wife and I loved the work that he had done when he was with Lyman Perry Assoc. We wanted the Nantucket look even though we were only building on an 18 acre lake. One of his strengths beyond design was bringing ideas to us on types of light fixtures, flooring choices, and even landscape options that would work. For example, as we moved through the planning process, Jeff recommended that we put in a fire pit down by the lake. We would have never thought of it. We have had so much fun using it with friends, family and neighbors. The bottom line for us was we really didn't know what we wanted when we started thinking about building our "dream home". Hiring a good architect is a must. Jeff is one of them!”
