“Mark Hammer and Don DiRocco (Hammer Architects) listen for what their clients seem to want - and then deliver - responsively, but boldly. I wanted a great big, airy, open style living, kitchen dining area - for a house where we would entertain. What I had was a house with low ceilings, tired finishes and no front door. Mark put pencil to paper and in very short order, opened up the space, raised the ceiling, added beams and pendant lights, and designed an inviting and exciting entryway that sparks a "Whoa!" and a "Wow" from everyone who gets through the front door. Don designed the kitchen and bathrooms, helped us choose and place all fixtures, paid attention to the smallest details, and made no mistakes. Our house got built on time and on budget. We're thrilled.”

“We recently completed a large, comprehensive renovation of our home in Cape Cod. Peter McDonald Architects did the entire design. They worked very well with us to identify our needs and to create a design that was very appropriate for our home. They guided us to a very good contractor; and worked very effectively with them. Ultimately, architect, contractor and owner worked together to arive at a finished renovation project that was VERY pleasing to us as the owner. “Jennifer Drain from Archiplicity was fantastic to work with for our new house design and construction project on Nantucket. She designed a layout that works for the way we live but also has a nice flow and interesting design. The exterior is stunning to look at and really captured the look we wanted, even with tight regulatory restrictions. As our project progressed, Jenny was a great problem-solver and budget-saver. She provided great customer service and creative solutions at every step. I'm so glad we took her advice on so many decisions. “Joe Fournier did some great architectual design work on two large projects we did. A large remodel on one property and an almost complete rebuild on a second property. Joe acted as GC on the second job and did a wonderful job keeping things moving, helping us get good decisions made in a timely fashion and working closely with all the trades to ensure the work was coordinated and of high quality. The transformations to our properties were hugely successful and Joe was instrumental in helping us get to a place where the homes work so much better for our lifestyle. “We met Doug while searching for a new home. Our realtor recommended him to us. We knew we wanted to find a place in town and then renovate it. Doug actually worked with us on 2 posibilities that fell through and then with the 3rd which we bought. He did the leg work on all 3 with the town hall and the building inpector to make sure we could do the renovations we were thinking of for them prior to making an offer. While working with Doug on our plans we found him to be very professional - always willing to meet with us and incorporate the changes in the designs to meet our vision. Doug went above and beyond to make sure our permits were in order. He actually attended 2 different Town Building Design meetings with me to answer any questions they had regarding our plans. He gave us an estimate and stayed true to that .... He worked well with our builder and the job went smoothly. I would definite use Doug again in the future. WE LOVE OUR HOUSE !! It is exactly what we wanted -- thanks to Doug and our builder.”
