The Design Bureau

THE DESIGN BUREAU was founded in 2012 by Ar.Vanita Zeena Mendes & Ar. Jude Lobo. We operate from our design studio in Goa. The practice was established on a common belief that architecture is the relationship between people and the built form. The main objective at the design bureau is to create simple No-nonsense contemporary living. As architects, we endeavor to create respectable buildings which are responsible to the site and its surroundings, which are evolved through careful considerations of client’s briefs and aspirations, thus creating something unique, contemporary and belonging to its context. At THE DESIGN BUREAU we believe in staying rooted. We want to create architecture with modern design aesthetics yet maintaining traditional sensibilities. The final goal is to create architecture that belongs to its time, without imitating the past and which can be appreciated in the future. EFFECTIVE ARCHITECTURE starts with good design and simple ideas.
