INHABITAT Design Studio

INHABITAT is a design studio founded in 2016 - offering consultancy for architecture, interiors and landscape. INHABITAT aims to build architecture that is climatically and contextually relevant. Our work explores relationships between people and landscape to create a sense of belonging. The architecture studio started based on a very simple idea; if a building can feel like it naturally ‘belongs’, or fits logically in a place, to an environment, a time and culture, then the people that inhabit the building will likely feel a sense of belonging there as well. This methodology connects theories of beauty, confidence, economy and comfort. We aim to craft benchmark solutions that address society’s changing way of living and working. Our office as well, is designed as a completely open plan office reflects the democratic beliefs of the practice. Staff well being is important, with a conscious focus on providing good working conditions for staff and ensuring a family-friendly environment.
