We would like to do this review in three parts. Part 1: about Prashanth, founder of Etagi Design Collaborative What we liked most about Prashanth was his unflinching values, ethics, attention to detail, listening skills, humility, ability to deal with multiple stakeholders, patience, knowledge of design in conjunction with the natural elements at play, openness and transparency. We have seen architects colluding with contractor in the garb of turn key project execution and ending up compromising the overall delivery. We have seen brilliant architects but having sky-high ego to the levels that they end up unable to collaborate. We have seen architects dealing only on paper and missing site visits and thereby causing a wide gap between on paper design and actual implementation. Prashanth is a breath of fresh air who stands miles apart from run-of-the-mill types. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have Prashanth as our Architect. Part 2: the process and design for renovation of Besuge Our 18 year old home was built with load bearing walls without columns. When we started thinking about renovation, we weren't really sure whether it can withstand the amount of tinkering required. Prashanth onboarded an expert structural engineer to address the feasibility of tinkering with the structure. It gave us the confidence to move ahead. Prashanth had a detailed discussion with us to elicit some of the hidden requirements from us. For instance, he asked anything that troubles us in the old structure. I hinted that the current entry at first floor and going down to ground floor for bedrooms and study, as a hassle. He immediately recognised the potential of the home if we have entry at the ground floor and pitched it to us. His idea, not only ended up getting rid of the extra stairs and the space saving thereof, it also completely changed the character and circulation of the entire home. This was a turning point in the process and after this everything fell in place. Multiple design options were proposed and we were amazed at the possibilities of the old structure. Part 3: Final outcome All our requirements were met like, luxurious yet understated, all around greenery, cozy and contemporary, automated yet charaterful, interplay with the natural elements yet adequate protection against fury of nature, usage of diverse materials and elements yet keeping everything harmonious, technically advanced yet not making it overwhelming and so on. The final outcome hinged on the dexterity of Prashanth to deal with multiple agencies. We had a kitchen vendor, interiors vendor, pantry area vendor, lighting designer, landscape designer and of course the civil works contractor. But Prashanth orchestrated the whole implementation with extreme patience and understanding. The pièce de résistance of the entire home is the terrace garden. This was completely a brain child of Prashanth and we are forever grateful to him for creating this space.

A very big thank you to Etagi Design collaborative. A very hard working and professional team who approach a project like it’s their own. We’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of time and dedication Mr.Prashanth Nandiprasad has spent on our project. Prashanth took on board all our comments, input and was happy to discuss at length of all the pros and cons in project. Always willing to accommodate our requirements. Frequent and timely visits to site was done at all the stages he has an eye for details and a perfectionist. The team have done all the work for us and been with us from beginning to end till they handed us the keys to our new house. Our contractor Bhaskar did a fabulous job he has been the backbone of the project. Our families and friends loved the entire project and we can’t thank you enough for making us the owner of this beautiful and flawless house. Thanks, Prashanth for the wonderful design and assistance throughout the journey of 15 months of building “Shri Devesha”. Prashanth has a real sense of architecture who lives to design and fantastic human being. His way of asking 13-15 (don’t remember the exact count) questions and reading customers’ mindsets, feelings, nature, etc. is a wonderful technique. He makes sure every design is unique and has different elements (Seriously, Prashanth how did you get this uniqueness :) ) With Prashanth, we never felt the give-and-take relationship for 15 months instead, it was completely a team or family feeling. Prashanth always listen to us and suggested what is best for us in long run. Design phase; We wanted a simple and open design with good landscaping in a 30x40 site. I remember meeting him only once in his office and all follow-up meetings happened virtually due to COVID. At The first draft of the design, we were amazed and can see all the elements which we has dreamed about. During execution; he regularly visited our place at every necessary interval for both civil and interior work. Prashanth was so quality-oriented that he sometimes rejected what the contractor has built and ensures no compromise. A good auditor for us. We used to call Prashanth for all minor aspects and he always helped without getting annoyed even for items that weren’t part of his contract (special thanks, Prashanth). We are really fortunate and happy to have you, for designing and executing our project, “Shri Devesha”. We wholeheartedly recommend Prashanth and his team for any architect need. We were fortunate to collaborate with Prashanth in helping us build our Villa. After we had bought the plot we wanted an architect who can help us in designing our house. One of the major requirement from our side was space utilisation and we wanted a house that is a blend of modern and traditional. Prashanth was able to understand this and was able to plan the design accordingly. The design phase was the most exciting one where Prashanth provided us with every details of the floor plan and he was receptive to our changes and wherever he felt our idea may not be ideal he was able to explain and make us understand and take it forward. Post that we had the execution phase, where he helped us source contractor by reviewing their projects and regular visits to monitor the progress and quality , helping us select materials, choose colors etc and finally we have our new home a reality. Overall it was a fantastic 18+ months and at the end i felt i made the right choice of having Prashanth and his team from Etagi design collaborative design our house. I would whole heartedly recommend Prashanth and his team for any one who looking to construct their dream house with eye towards details, finesse and quality.

When we purchased our new apartment,we did some research on whom we should consult for the Interior design and execution.There were lot of names floating around like Livspace,Bonito,Homelane etc,but found that most of the reviews were highly hyped up and also we came to know that the quality was just okay. We came to know about Mr Prashant Nandiprasad of M/s Etagi Design Collaborative and his work through a mutual acquaintance, Mr Mahesh of M/s Adimulam Builders. We consulted him and were shown a number of his completed projects and were impressed. We finally decided to go for a contemporary look with subtle colors. He was very helpful in choosing the designs,color combination etc. Mr Prashant's valuable design inputs,suggestions and ideas were duly executed by Mahesh and his team.He gave a lot of attention to small details and the final outcome was just what we had in mind and are very much impressed. I would like to also mention here that the lighting fixtures selected by Mr Prashant were excellent. Overall, our apartment looks very elegant,contemporary and beautiful. I approached Prashanth for my house construction with specific requirements. If I look back, I can confidently say all my requirements were met and I took right decision to go with Etagi. We are very happy that project was executed on time with Quality. We are very happy with Etagi Design Collaborative for executing our project with great interest and handing over in time. Mr. Prashanth, the Architect took lot of interest in designing as per our requirements. A very humble and patience person he visiting the site regularly, to check the quality and instructing the Contractor when necessary. We were free of worries about the Construction of our house because of him. During Construction we had to travel out of the Country for few months and his updates was excellent with video chats and picture forwards. His explanation regarding expenses for the construction was very informative and was very useful too. We once again thank Etagi Design Collaborative for taking up our house consultancy. We are happily living there now.
