About Us

Arun Thomas architects is a boutique architectural practice, established in 2010 with offices in Kochi, Coimbatore & UAE. After completing B - Arch from TKM College of Engineering in 2004, the principal architect Arun Thomas worked for 7 years with India’s leading architectural firms : Cnt Bangalore with Ar. Sanjay Mohe, Architecture Paradigm Bangalore, Ochre Pune & Design Combine Cochin with Ar. Jacob George & Ar. Ramesh Tharakan. He formed GRiD architects in 2010, which was later renamed as Arun Thomas Architects. One among the leading architects in Kochi, the firm currently has 5 architects & 3 support staff with extensive experience in handling Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Resort & Interior design projects in various cities of Kerala and South India. Ar. Arun Thomas has involved in the design & execution of projects of various scales including Award winning Residences , Hi- End Bungalows, 5 Star Resorts, Apartments, Commercial Complexes, Retail showrooms, Convention Centers, Interior Design projects, Product design etc . The practice has recently collaborated with Sky Line General Contracting LLC, Abu Dhabi for its upcoming projects in UAE. He also holds a Masters degree - M Arch in Urban Design.

Arun was clear, concise and effective in helping us achieve our dream home at Njarackal, Kochi. He was always available on call/in person, provided super detailed diagrams for almost all civil work items, proper renderings for each room, helping us chose furniture, multiple site visits with proper and clear guidance to workers etc. Overall we're highly satisfied with the way how the project has turned up. Thank you Arun!

I've had opportunity to associate with Arun Thomas on 3 of my projects -two of them have been completed and the third one is in progress. His designs are simply amazing, he is creative, detailed and thorough. He gives personal attention to all his projects though he has a good team to support him. I've nothing but great things to tell people about him and the works that he has done for my projects.

Arun was instrumental in designing and completing our apartment at Choice Paradise, Cochin. We needed to combine 2 apartments into one and he did a fantastic job in creating a home taking into account all our requirements. He was always receptive in our inputs but also had some brilliant ideas in minimising wastage of space. He gave a very contemporary design for the kitchen and the wardrobes with high quality and value for money. He is extremely sincere and hardworking and ensures that he delivers on time. Thanks Arun for our wonderful home. Would highly recommend Arun for anyone who is looking for a talented and very approachable architect to design a home.
