Peninsula Construction Service LLC (PCS) is a family owned and operated business that takes home building to the next level. Wayne Kentner has been building and designing residential projects for over 31 years, and his vision is to create and design friendly homes, with quality craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and timeless finishes. As a general contractor and home builder, PCS can help you with anything that deals with construction - from residential bathroom & kitchen remodels, to new home construction, and even to commercial work. We had Peninsula Construction come out to our house after not finding anyone willing to come out to fix our eaves and under our house, I have to say they are very professional and we were not disappointed in the kind of work they do and how pleasant the workers are, they are great and actually alot of fun, now that the jobs are done, I miss their smiles a laughter. Our office required renovations to accommodate new equipment. Wayne was able to work with our limited schedule in shutting down operations for the completion of work. With an older building, plumbing and electrical changes can be difficult at times. Wayne’s subcontractors had no problems and were prompt and skilled in completing the job. I appreciate Wayne’s excellent communication and follow through, he makes it easy to have confidence the job will be done right!

Wayne is the most honest, reliable contractor I have ever dealt with. When he says he will be there on a specific date and time he follows through (barring some unforeseen emergency). His bids are fair, and most importantly, accurate. All these qualities set him apart. The final, most-important trait he possesses is decades of experience, and the quality of work that he produces. We had a barn (over 100 years old) that was literally falling down. Wayne and his crew did a great job of raising it up, placing proper piers and bracing under the structure and did a thorough clean-up afterward. They gave an old building a new lease on life, and made it a lot safer than it previously had been. I highly recommend him.

Wayne is very professional, clean and trustworthy. His bids are very accurate as he takes the time to track down materials and price them out rather than just using an estimate from thin air as I've seen so many other contractors do. I am also impressed that Wayne uses a special air filter that dramatically reduces the dust that would otherwise be all over the place (as often occurs in construction/renovation projects). With other contractors I used in the past I spent HOURS cleaning up after them (in a different home), but this doesn't happen with Peninsula Construction Service. Of course MOST importantly is that their quality is really top notch.

CMG Electrical Services

Peninsula Construction Service hired me to do the electrical install on a new attached garage. The owner, Wayne is very knowledgeable and has years of experience in the construction field. After seeing how pleased the homeowner was with the final product and receiving great feedback about the professional service that Peninsula Construction offered, they are the only contractor that I trust with my clients. On the other side of being a subcontractor for PCS, I was very pleased with the feedback that I was given and we were able to stick to the contract. All changes that were submitted got taken care of at close of business. PCS is a great contractor to have your next project completed with and a great contractor to work for.

My estimates have been accurate, any change orders were immediately accompanied by a new estimate, work has been professional and timely, subcontractors were very professional and all the work has been very high quality. After an extensive search, and several interviews with multiple contractors, I chose Wayne Kentner, Peninsula Construction Service to do a fairly extensive remodel on my home. This was not my first rodeo and I had some trepidation going into this project as there were some potentially very difficult hurdles to deal with. Wow! Wayne did the smoothest, most drama free remodel I have ever contracted. He is organized, communicative and personable; followed up and inspected every subcontractors work as well as checking in at least once daily, if not more, when subs were onsite. I have recommended him to others, contracted him to do an expansion of my deck as well as work on my office building. I cannot speak highly enough of him and his company.

Wayne and his crew repaired some serious long-term water damage in the floor and wall of our guest bathroom. They were very easy and pleasant to work with, and were fast, efficient, and did great work. Wayne was very good about keeping us informed about what the issues were, and always showed up on time. The cost for the repair was reasonable, considering how much work had to be done, and actually ended up being a few hundred dollars less than the original estimate.

Very profesional attitude and work habit. In March 2016 they completely replaced our back deck with a new deck made out of composite material. From beginning to end always kept their promises, showed up on time. Always kept us posted on work progress and unexpected surprises ( deck support needed to be replaced too). Realistic estimates which they kept to. Very good follow up on any warranty issues.

Twice we have had the pleasure of Wayne and his team doing remodel for us. The first time we hired his company was after several bids. Although not the cheapest he certainly was not the most expensive and his professionalism and manner won us over. Our second remodel was done without bid because of the quality of the first project. The first time was a complete master bath, gut and rebuild from the ground up. I could not have been happier with the quality he and his team of subcontractors provided us. The second was a complete kitchen gut and remodel. His estimated time line was on the button. We get nothing but the greatest of complements on the quality and excellence of the work done. The work missed the estimated completion time by one week only due the counter top installation sub contractor being a bit late in delivery. The final product was fantastic. His suggestions throughout the project only fueled the fire of perfection.
