I have worked with Andy on 6 or 7 big projects and a number of smaller ones over the years. I have found him to be practical, creative and very resourceful. From finding the right solutions for a yacht, a custom office solution to making a home feel comfortable and intimate; Andy was able to step up and come up with fabulous solutions.

Andy is the most talented designer I know. He pays close attention to his clients' ideas and style preferences, and stays within budget, making decorating projects easy and fun. He has a great eye for color: I first started working with Andy when I could not find a satisfactory color for my living room. I had bought small cans of paint that I thought should work because the colors picked up the warm yellow in the wood in the room but which looked awful when I painted a small area of the wall with the sample paint.. A local fine furniture maker recommended that I contact Andy to solve the problem. He immediately saw that the color was the right hue but the wrong value for the size of the room. The new color he recommended looked very strong on the paint swatch, but he assured me that the large room needed a color with more "weight" and it would recede on the walls. The color was perfect. He also recommended an unexpected, bold color for my front hall ceiling that turned out to be spectacular. Andy finds furnishings that are beautiful and timeless and he has a wonderful knack for solving building design problems, such as awkward spaces, often in simple and practical ways. I have worked with Andy off and on for 20 years and I am always happy with the results. My husband and I love his work and guests to our home frequently comment on how wonderful and inviting our rooms are.

We have used Andy as our primary interior design consultant in three different homes, and we could not be more enthusiastic about the quality of his services. He is very knowledgeable, very engaging to work with, and always prompt in his attention to our needs. This relationship has extended over the past 20 years.
