A life long journey for founder, Mark Nicholson, Wilderness Creations started in a garage workshop where Mark crafted and designed custom rustic furniture. Over the years it evolved to include rustic and Adirondack furniture by other craftsmen, and was moved to a larger showspace in the quaint town of Dublin, NH. The new Wilderness Creations Gallery includes a funky, converted greenhouse that is large enough to display the extensive inventory and workshop, where Mark still designs and builds custom ordered pieces. Mark developed a passion for rustic furniture and decor at a young age, while spending summers at his family's camp in Maine. The home was built in the early 1900s and featured some of the original Old Hickory Furnishings as well as twig knobs and latches on the doors. After graduating college Mark moved to Colorado where he became an apprentice to a rustic furniture builder. He has been building and designing furniture ever since. As the demand for his rustic furniture grew, Mark jumped at the chance to expand. He and his wife, Tasha, went to work on creating a full service shopping experience. Today Wilderness Creations offers an extensive inventory of some of the finest crafted rustic furniture in the USA, as well as a few unique finds from around the world.
