Ron Friedman Lighting Design

I have worked on a number of projects with Jim Haas. Not only is he a talented designer; he is also professional, collaborative, and accommodating. As a lighting designer I particularly value his insights and his willingness to partner in creating details that help lighting play an integral part in the overall project aesthetic. He is unique in his willingness to spend time on site to insure that what is drawn is what gets built. His rapport with both clients and tradespeople is excellent. His approach is humble, respectful, and highly competent.

My husband and I hired Westwork Architectural Studio to design our dream home and Jim did just that! He listened carefully to our desires and tastes as well as our specified budget. He worked closely with us, adjusting the details and design as we moved along in the process and as we became clearer on what we wanted. The end result was a home that is both architecturally beautiful and structurally sound. We have worked with Westwork Architects on two different occasions and have been extremely happy with our experiences. They designed our french country home and then approximately 10 years later, they designed a backyard poolhouse. They were a pleasure to work with both times and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. They are extremely creative, professional and easy to work with. We would highly recommend Westwork for any architectural work!

Westwork Architectural Studios’ principals, Jim Haas and Bob Montanari, have designed our most recent custom home which was completed in August 2014. Prior to this home, Westworks designed and prepared the plans for our previous home in 1998. This fact alone speaks volumes for the level of satisfaction we have had in dealing with Jim and Bob and their designs. Their work is creative, functional and impeccable in every detail. Their professional demeanor, knowledge, and forward-thinking abilities from initial project conception to completion make Westwork Architectural Studio a top-notch firm. Over the years we have designed and developed outdoor space and landscapes for a number of the properties that they have designed & developed. Westwork's attention to detail and creativity is unmatched. Their design principles & support staff are always at the forefront of their field and true artisans of Architectural design & details.
