About Us

Warners’ Stellian is Minnesota’s appliance specialist. Family owned and operated for more than 60 years, we provide an unmatched shopping experience with incomparable services at 11 locations. Our highly trained staff listens to your needs and helps ensure the best appliance for your lifestyle. Our sales associates and service technicians are true specialists; many have been with us for more than 10 years. Our nine thoughtfully designed stores feature working kitchen vignettes where you can “try before you buy.” In 1954, Jim Warner took a bookkeeping job at Stellian’s appliance store on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota, owned by Steve and Lillian Farkas (Stellian is the combination of their first names). After many years as a valued employee, Jim bought the business in 1971 and added his name to theirs, also making it plural to include his wife and children. He established a solid foundation for success by offering the best products available and making sure every customer received exceptional service from sale to delivery. Those values were passed on to his nine children who now own the company. Four members of the Warner family actively operate the company. Delivered defective oven. Big company bureaucracy. Mom and pop supply chain. Good News: Sales staff know a lot about products (Range/oven). Bad News: Once they get your money the service goes in the toilet. Like dealing with insurance companies when you have a problem. Details: 1) Paid $4,000 for new range. 2) After they installed it was obviously defective (fan has crazy loud grinding/rattling sound when first turned on). 3) Took 5 more days to acknowledge our immediate calls and emails about the defective oven. 4) Took 2 more weeks to tell us they ordered parts with at least 2 more weeks lead time but couldn't be sure they would fix the issue. No service call to look at defective oven, just guess and hope for the best. 5) After talking to 6 + people, the request to replace the defective oven with one that isn't defective was denied. They think it makes sense to pay full price for a refurbished oven with the additional "benefit" of having been without a working oven for the entire time. No oven for Thanksgiving, and it looks like Christmas also.

Purchased a dishwasher 5 years ago, with a 5 year warranty. 2 months after the warranty ran out, dishwasher leaked through kitchen floor and destroyed basement ceiling, drywall and flooring. Called for service and they sent an automated email saying they wouldn’t even respond to schedule an appointment for 72 hours. No sense of urgency, accountability or customer service. Moving on to other options.

Sales associate Alana Wynne was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our kitchen remodel. She was able to put together every must-have item on our list. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the products was instrumental in getting the right appliances for our space. We were informed of two price reductions during the process of our remodel and were able to take advantage of a rebate offered by Bosch to help keep us on budget. Delivery and installation exceeded my expectations by adapting twice to our changing time line due to contractor delays. It was truly a pleasure working with Alana at Warner Stellian.

I have purchased many appliances from Warner's Stellian at the Apple Valley location. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint about the service is that when they are busy you can have to wait a while for help. They flat out have the best prices around. I am a savvy shopper. My M.O. is to shop for a product, in person and online, and then when I find what I want, price shop. I always end up back at Warner's. I should just skip the first steps, but habits are hard to break. Their installers are the best. With items I have chosen to have them install they are super nice and have always gone above and beyond.

Commented: CleaningI personally don't like cleaning any microwave :) but the best way to do is to boil water to loosen messes with steam and then wipe clean from there. A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser also works wonders on bak...

Commented: Turntable?You have to get used to using a button to open it, but in terms of accessibility and the ease of putting items in and getting them out, this configuration really makes sense.
