I am a landscape lighting designer and have been using installing WAC lighting for a few years.Loved their products until recently when I had some fixtures fail after sever months. Worst company I have ever dealt with as far as customer service after the sale ,took the faulty fixtures to the vendor I bought them from locally to return to WAC to supposedly test,I was forced to come out of pocket to replace the fixtures. Aug 5th,I still have yet to hear any information and have reason to believe the new LED quick connect fixtures had a faulty batch but somehow after several emails,phone messages have still not heard anything on Oct 7th. Will never buy or support WAC Lighting products ever again. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

No Android apps available for controlling landscaping lights from phone. Nearly half of new smart phone sales in the US are Android. Leaving out 50% of the market is not too smart. Go with Kichler, they have apps for all the major platforms so you don't need to worry about it.

I bought for about $900 of light fixtures for WAC lighting. This company really lacks reliability. One of the light were defective (I got refunded for this), another was constructed poorly with space between the acrylic shade and the casing. It got replaced, but I had a lot of trouble with the installation because the installation manual was full of mistakes (e.g. on which mounting holes to put the screws and where the holes are doesn't match the product) and hardware was missing or incorrect, so I had to go to hardware store and re-drill mounting holes in the wall. The time responsiveness of customer service is really poor and they refused to compensate me in anyway for all the troubles due to their lack of packaging and information care.

I have purchased over $20,000 worth of light fixtures from WAC for my showroom in Florida, I must say the product is great looking however 3 years down the road 2 the light fixture stopped working I have called since then and exchanged so many emails with WAC lighting in effort for them to replace the two pieces that are under 5 year warranty....................... after months of phone calls and email I just gave up .
My recommendation to you: do not do business with this company WAC they do not stand behind their product.

Terrible customer support. I have an issue with an LED fixture that went out after 1 year. E-mailed WAC on Houzz. The response was to return it to the retailer. Really!??! What retailer handles warranty issues after 1 year?? The product (and the response I received from WAC) states that the fixture is warranted for 5 years. I replied to WAC asking them for clarification. No response. At this rate, by the time I figure out how to get this repaired/replaced, the warranty will have expired.

Horrible customer service; purchased two of the Level light (37 in) and both buzz extremely loud when turned on. Reached out to WAC with no response.

I got a multiple mini recessed lights 2 years ago.
I requested the customwr service to give me a dimer model/brand to know which one would work perfect. After 2 years, i continue trying to find the correct one and no one from customer service have given me any suggestion or call.
Never imagine this when i bought it.

As an architect, I have specified WAC Lighting products (Modern Forms Lighting) many times in the past and have been very happy with the products and quality.
With that said. My last order of their product has now been back-ordered since June of 2014 and they cannot/ will not give my local distributor an expected timeline. We were first told (back in June 2014) to expect October. Then December. Then January… They are telling my distributor that they are having troubles with their Chinese manufacturer(s), and now are unwilling to give an estimated delivery time.
My project is sitting without 15 light fixtures (and my clients are grumpy at me for specifying those fixtures)
My BIGGEST issue is that I have reached out to the president of WAC Lighting, Shelly Weld and have left two (nice/ pleasant) voice-mails of several weeks, to express my concerns about specifying their products in the future if this is an issue that might repeatedly arise. Neither of my messages were returned. I then reached out and left a voice-mail to one of the senior sales managers, Dino (sp?), and that message has also gone unanswered.
If corporate leadership will not stand behind their products or services, it really makes me concerned if this is a product that I will continue to specify to my clients.
As a side-note: The light fixture in question – Modern Forms Lighting ‘Jedi WS-28AL’ is still shown on their website as available to order (even though they have no timeline available to fulfill their existing orders).
… I very much dislike reaching out in such a negative fashion, but if repeated attempts to contact the company’s management go unanswered, they really leave me no choice than to share my experiences with potential clients.

I have done many installations with LED Lights from many different suppliers. I found the LED's from WAC Lighting to be troublesome to work with and when I encountered a problem the technical support person very unhelpful and a little off beat. I got the impression the technical support person was untrained and unskilled in lighting installations. Worse I found that the person did not listen to my problem and instead talked about not related points.
That said - the light quality is excellent. I will shy away from this supplier going forward due to the first experience with their technical support team. I also found in unprofessional for a lighting company to expect me to return to the place of purchase for an exchange of material. So many bathroom suppliers will drop ship these parts or fixture to a job site. One small issue with the WAC lighting could have set me back multiple hours in a work week.
In the end I fixed the problem myself and found that the LED's need to be powered in a certain direction when cutting them. This you would expect a technical support person to know and when I directly asked this question was told "It should not matter".
Great light - great colour - Tech Support needs some improvement. I'd rate them a C-
