Jennifer made an overwhelming task do-able, with incredible results. We were completely renovating our 25 year old home, and I involved Jennifer before the work had even begun. She was able to prioritize all the "next steps" and even make the selection process enjoyable. It was important to me that our home reflect us, not the designer, and that was a priority for Jennifer, as well. While I would not recommend living in the space while the work is being done, it did enable us to evaluate along the way, which turned out to be very beneficial. Jennifer served as an advocate, when needed, to clarify questions and assist in resolving concerns. I love every space in my "new" home and am enjoying it to the fullest.

Jennifer was so easy to work with. She brought samples to the house and even drove me around the city to pick and choose items. She knew I was overwhelmed with choices and made it possible for me to get what I wanted by narrowing the selections. She addressed existing problems, corrected them, and stayed and helped with on-site decisions. She speaks Contractor Language! Jennifer re-purposed items that I wanted to keep and steered me away from mistakes. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Jennifer's design for our master bath/bedroom is wonderful-clean and bright with just enough pop of color to draw the eye! She is professional to work with and very pleasant. I will hire her again when needed.

Jennifer Markanich was contracted to redesign my 16 yr old kitchen in need of a total renovation. Additionally, in doing so, an opening through a load bearing wall into the adjacent living room was created to improve use and enjoyment of that space. Jennifer is extremely intuitive with her clients in creating space that reflects their lifestyles and their tastes as well as working respectfully within a budget. The kitchen was completely gutted and reconfigured. She provided extensive, detailed designs for the cabinetmaker, a lighting plan, electrical detailing ,assisted with appliance selection, etc. She was very attentive with the day to day progress and had efficiently scheduled the various elements so as to minimize the amount of time this project took as we continued to live in our home during this process. She worked very professionally with the various trades involved, is knowledgeable of them in a way that contributed to the overall design and it was a total pleasure to have her do this project with us. We were thrilled with the outcome and enjoy the new space immensely.

We are about to complete a project with Jennifer. This was new construction so Jennifer's organizational skills have been so important. Jennifer is one of the most professional and creative designers we have ever worked with on a construction project. Jennifer's communication skills have been excellent with us as well as the contractor. This has been one of the most pleasant construction projects we have done so far!

I've worked with Jennifer Markinach on several projects as a subcontractor drapery/bedding workroom. Jennifer has BEAUTIFUL taste, she chooses FABULOUS fabrics and her designs are IMPECCABLE! I love the layering and element of surprise that Jennifer brings to her designs. I have worked with Jennifer for years and she is always very professional, organized and knowledgable about the field of interior design, how rooms flow best, how colors mix together, etc.

The owner was not able to provide a workable bathroom design. Additionally she kept drawing and changing her mind and ultimately no product (design layout of bathroom) was forthcoming. Of course for all of the "drawing" the price continued to escalate. I paid for nothing. A friend used her for a kitchen remodel and had the same experience: paid for an unworkable design. In both of our cases, we had the jobs completed by a different designer.
