We are London's top stone experts with the largest selection of natural stone and quartz in the UK! We cut in our own yard with our own teams, using the latest technology to achieve any finish or look. We can take a stone slab and cut it to size and shape of your walls, floor, baths or wherever required with as few joints as possible, if any at all. With a showroom based in Chelsea, we are centrally located and available for project management. A few supply issues at first due to staff being away and some production line problems but subsequently sorted out well.

Freddie and Max are knowledgeable, flexible and incredibly helpful, Max will go incredible lengths to help out and deliver to expectation. Good pricing and selections of stones, marble and quartz.

Freddie at This Is Stone is great, I highly recommend using him for worktops etc. Genuinely nice guy and good to work with. He worked really hard to select a great slab for us andmake sure the worktop was fitted on time. Thanks for your help!

We have employed Max and Freddie on several projects, they are professional and their knowledge of the product and installing We have worked with Freddie and Max on several of our projects. They are professional and flexible which is helpful in a very fluid business. Their knowledge of the material they are fabricating and installing is excellent. Their operatives really know their stuff and this is essential when it comes to installation. Pricing is always market competitive. We would definitely recommend Freddie, Max and their team.

We have used This is stone for 8 installations of kitchen worktops and they have been very competitively priced but also very professional and left all customers very happy. If there has been any changes required they have dealt with these quickly and without any question. They have always met the agreed deadline and are a lot faster than other companies we have used. I have no hesitation about recommending them.

Max and Freddie are a great team that have provided us with a range of counters, from rich Carrara marble to stylish quartz tops. They have proved time and again their great product knowledge, keen eye for design and very high standard of finishing. You're in safe hands... Most recently, they completed an Arabescato Corchia feature wall & shower tray in a top floor Kensington apartment for me.

We've looked into 6 different worktop companies for our kitchen Silestone 30mm worktop. And This is Stone came out the best in price and quality service. Freddie from the Head office was very helpful and professional and answers all our queries on time. The team who delivered and installed our worktop was very good with their job, highly skilled, respectful and punctual. They delivered my worktop within 6 days! Would definitely use this company again for future project at home.

Commented: What are the island's measurements?Hi Ligia, It was a long time ago we did this so cant quite remember but generally the maximum black granite slab you will be able to find would be about 3300x2000m.
