We chose the Skipton Kitchen Company having read the reviews on their website about the approach to planning and design of the kitchen and the standard of workmanship during the installation. Michael visited us at home and we described our requirements, what we wanted from our kitchen and issues we had with the layout of our current kitchen. Michael then took some measurements and we met again a week later. Michael had produced a 3D representation of what our new kitchen would look like. It was exactly as we had described save for a couple of tweaks he had made that we both felt enhanced the design. During that meeting we chose the finishes and kitchen appliances we wanted, received a quote and placed the order. Our project required building work and Michael recommended tradesmen he had worked with before. The builder, window fitter and plasterer all delivered to a high standard at a good price. Michael also recommended the tiler and the floor fitter who again were excellent. The agreed timetable was impacted by the COVID lockdown but Michael kept us informed so we were aware the revised schedule. The process of removing our old kitchen and installing the new one was excellent, the workmanship was first rate. We are both delighted with the outcome and the overall cost. We fully recommend the company to anyone planning their own kitchen project.

My kitchen is now 2 years old, so I am able to confirm that after hard use it is looking as good as new - and that I don’t have any regrets about layout or use of materials. Michael was very flexible with the design and came up with ideas to provide exactly what I wanted - as well as suggesting things I didn’t know I wanted. - but have been great! Very grateful for his expertise and have been delighted with the quality and finish of the end result. Installation was clean and tidy - and again Michael was very flexible when I decided that I didn’t have enough sockets after all. Happy to recommend the Skipton Kitchen Company and would definitely use them again - not that I anticipate needing a new kitchen for quite some time!

From start to finish it has been a pleasure dealing with Michael. His attention to detail in planning and execution are exceptional. He is also a very tidy worker and a pleasure to have in our home. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would highly recommend The Skipton Kitchen Company.

Michael Ogden is definitely well worth factoring into your kitchen plans ..... His attention to detail is that of a perfectionist. We were thrilled with the outcome .... All this happened in the middle of the lock down too .... but Michael ensured we were well catered for!

I have had new kitchens before and was prepared for the hassle, disruption and inevitable unforeseen problems. This experience was totally different. From beginning to end it was great. Michael talked us through the design, accommodating our wish list. Kitchen was booked in and started on time. Michael did everything; the fitting, the plumbing, the electrics and did more besides. When the gas engineer said a pipe couldnt be moved, Michael found a way for it to be moved. The disruption was limited to a weekend, but after that we had a sink and cooker. It all went to plan. There was one design issue which I spotted late, but again Michael’s response was ‘Not a problem’ and it wasn't. Michael was charming, funny and provided I kept him supplied with refreshments and goodies(!) did not complain. He is highly skilled and the end product is always of the highest spec. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Skipton Kitchen Co to any one. Five stars from me!

Michael carried out a full kitchen installation for us. (replacing an out dated kitchen that was installed in 1988). His work was of a very standard using good quality materials, making sensible suggestions to help with the redesign/appearance of the kitchen - although sounds simple the relocating of our fuse box and removal of a radiator (replaced with underfloor heating) not only enhanced the appearance of the kitchen but created more 'useable space'. He is very organised - cleaning up every evening to leave minimal dust/dirt, ensured we had access to essential services e.g. water/oven/fridge so that we didn't have to rely on takeaways etc. He is a delight to have in the house - has an approachable easy going style but is serious about delivering a good service that meets his customers needs,

Michael came out to do a full measure of our kitchen. He helped us plan it and came up with suggestions to make it a very workable space for our needs. Michael is an excellent kitchen fitter and his attention to detail is outstanding. We would highly recommend Michael and the products he supplies. We had a new kitchen fitted in September 2018. Our original kitchen was dated with a poor layout. We could not see an easy solution. We contacted Skipton Kitchen Company by googling local companies. We had a quick and friendly response from Mike. He came to look at our kitchen layout, and came up with a solution which we hadn't thought of. He explained everything in a way that we could fully understand, and also gave a set of computerized images of how the proposed kitchen would look. We gave the go-ahead, and work was carried out in a very friendly and professional form. Two years on, the kitchen continues to impress both us and our friends. We would strongly recommend Skipton Kitchen Company.

Having bought a house that was in desperate need of a new kitchen we looked at the options for local kitchen fitters. We were impressed on meeting Mike. The design and planning process was excellent, with Mike coming up with great ideas and suggestions to provide the design we were looking for. From design to delivery and implementation all went very smoothly and easily. Mike has provided us with a fabulous kitchen with amazing storage and lighting. Mike is first class to work with. An amazing experience with the Skipton kitchen company. Michael is the ultimate professional on all aspects of the build from start to finish. In the early stages of design he came up with ideas and designs that most kitchen companies could only dream of. The build quality and fitted quality is beyond all expectations. Michael even built us a wine rack from scratch to fit in a spare space. I can highly recommend Michael and the Skipton kitchen company. The most amazing kitchen I have ever seen. The Skipton Kitchen Company provided excellent, friendly, professional service from the first consultation to the job completion and beyond. Although I had a good idea of how I wanted my kitchen to look, with his knowledge and expertise, Michael Ogden immediately understood our needs and was able to offer advice and provide us with solutions to make the most of our space, design and budget without compromising on quality. With a degree in engineering, Michael is a perfectionist and takes a real pride in his work. From seamlessly fitting worktops to suspending lights to attaching a hidden towel rail, (not to mention installing the units!), Michael had loads of ideas and nothing was too much trouble. Our gorgeous kitchen was completed to a first class standard on time and on budget and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Michael really involved using the design but introduced us to new ideas (i.e. graphite cupboard interiors!) which have worked well in a traditional design. He is not precious about sourcing the appliances - understands that getting them in John Lewis sale & saving quite a bit helped us use him to carry on to revamp the utility room! Superb workmanship throughout. 6 months on the kitchen & utility room are proving a delight. His son's recommendation of a boiling water tap was a bit of leap in the dark for me, now I love it. On time, on budget, good after sales for little additions.
