Munsterman Group completed the design work for a substantial remodel of our lake front home in Lake Tahoe. Dale was a delight to work with and his design sense is outstanding. From overall flow of the space to the extensive reclaimed beam detail, Everything is perffect. The project turned out better than we could have hoped.

Dale is the best designer we work with. His Tahoe/Mountain style designs are created to fit each site and meet his clients requirements. The structure is well thought out which is very important for the high snow loads associated with the region. Dale has designed multiple Tahoe lakefront homes that have been on the cover or featured in local publications. Dale is professional and a pleasure to work with.

Dale Munsterman of the Munsterman Group is one of the most talented, innovative, highly respected and professional designers with whom I have worked over the past 24 years. Dale does amazing home designs and backs them up with models and renderings to support those designs. One of the big differences about Dale is that he worked in construction for eight years while pursuing his education so he not only knows how to design but how to construct. That, to me, is an important difference between him and other residential designers & architects. He also tailors each design to the wants / needs of his clients and each design is different. We had The Munsterman Group design a new house for us on Lake Tahoe. We had specific ideas of how we wanted the house to look and feel and Dale was able to make our vision a reality. His wealth of knowledge and creative input were invaluable and yet his focus was getting us the house we wanted not the one he thought we should have. He is an excellent guide and consultant and he was able to complete our project, which was on a bit of a fast track, on time and on budget. He was always flexible, professional and was never rattled when presented with our changes, time crunches or budget constraints. Building on the lake at Tahoe involves many public agencies each with their own requirements and restrictions. Dale easily navigated these various agencies and received the necessary approvals with a minimum amount of revisions. That is a feat in itself. Dale was able to anticipate and work out many design and permit issues before construction started. This made for a smoother construction phase. Overall our experience with The Munsterman Group was fantastic and we could not have been happier with the final result! We have recently hired Dale to design a farmhouse for us that we are building in Sonoma County, CA. We are still in the preliminary stages but once again the experience is proving to be collaborative, smooth and easy. We are looking forward to another positive experience working with Dale and The Munsterman Group.

I hired the Munsterman Group to design a complete remodel of a lakeside property on North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe Vista. The project is not yet complete, but permission for the project to proceed has been successfully secured. During this design and planning process Dale has always been responsive, professional, personable and has exhibited great attention to details that matter.
