Susan Melrath

We bought a giclée from Susan about a year ago. We were looking for a large painting for our living room wall, and we fell in love with Susan's painting. She was extremely patient and friendly, and helped us find the perfect fit in terms of colors, style and budget. It was a great experience, and we would love to work with her again in the future.

Susan's work is just like her—colorful, passionate, full of depth and life. Her paintings are intuitive and rich, built by layers on top of layers, forms on top of forms, all intermingling into powerful compositions of color and form. A painting of Susan's is a real treasure.

I own two large pieces by Susan and several smaller ones. I absolutely love them and have been thrilled with them every day since I bought them two years ago. Susan had already created the first one when I met her, and I commissioned her to make the second one as a companion piece for another wall in the same room. I was delighted with how they turned out, and Susan was a pleasure to work with on the commission. She sent me a few photos while the work was in progress in case I wanted to nudge the process in one direction or another.

Susan is an amazing artist. My husband and I commissioned a huge painting for our living room. It was a very special piece of art as it will commemorate our wedding. Susan worked with the two of us to understand our preferences, she used technology to show us how the finish work would look like, simulating different color mixes. Then she told us that she will need the freedom to create the painting. The painting turned out amazing! we love it! It represent who we are, and at the same time fit perfectively in the space that it was made for. During the process Susan was professional, flexible and very attentive to what could make the painting to turn the best. Her creativity and use of colors is very special, and the variety of shapes and styles she can do is broad. I recommend to visit with her and see her wonderful work.

Susan is a highly professional and organized artist. Her painting arrived promptly and was packaged safely. It is hanging now in my living room and I smile, every time I walk by it.
