Studio Black is a place of creation and experimentation in architecture and its inter-disciplinary cross-fertilisation. Driven by a philosophical approach to create architecture that is pragmatic, social and convivial, Studio Black works closely with clients to create sustainable architecture that is underpinned by financial viability and the desire to improve the quality of life for all. Professional Information

Studio Black was formed in 2012 and has developed a reputation for carefully crafted contemporary architecture as a base in Chennai, Vellore and relatively Southern part of Tamil Nadu. The resulting buildings reveal the continuous pursuit of conceptual formal clarity. Working with a limited range of clearly defined elements, the firm creates unambiguous hierarchies inside its buildings and in open spaces. Our Studio is a new generation design firm, providing consultancy services in Architecture, Planning, Interior design and Landscape design. The firm is located in Chennai & Vellore, India. We are a partnership firm headed by young and talented professionals with experience in a wide range of building projects in Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Hospitality sectors.
