We hired STS to lay tile for our kitchen floor and we couldn’t be happier. They did an impeccable job. The grouting was masterful and recommended an epoxy grout, which takes more skill as it sets fast, but its stain resistant and more durable than normal grout. They also identified that our floor sloped in places and adjusted for those so the floor was properly level. The team who did the work was also friendly, on time, and attentive to our preferences. We plan to hire them again for a bigger project in the future.

After a thorough interview process of four general contractors, we hired STS to do a major repair on our home (replacing the cracked foundation of our two-story house). We chose them because their plan was the most thorough and included frequent communication. The work required them to coordinate with our architect, designer, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, and support piling specialists. We also decided to do some light remodeling and updating while the house was under construction. Our STS project manager (Jay) and site lead (Enrique) were fantastic to work with, answering our many questions and making sure to check in with us before proceeding on anything that came up anew. The on-site team was very flexible and helped us to create new storage space and improve interior spaces during the build. The plumbers, electricians, and other pros employed with STS were all great to work with. Everyone was respectful of the home and property. We have already, and will continue to, recommend STS!

STS does amazing work! We've had them work on several different phases of a renovation in 100 year old home. They are meticulous with their attention to detail, communicate effectively through any decisions that have to change, and really put the customer first. We've also have them renovate 5+ apartment buildings from the studs out as well as add new square footage. They are always looking to keep our projects on time and on budget.

STS did a terrific job remodeling and updating our house, a 1907 Craftsman that had suffered a number of bad remodels previously. There was quite a lot of structural reframing required, as well as electrical and plumbing updates, and almost every window in the house was replaced. The STS team did some very creative work to mask all the new beams in the ceiling. The tilework in the kitchen and bathroom are spectacular - people ooh and ahh when they see it. The wood frames around the windows and the handmade fir banister bring the Craftsman feel back, even though all the original wood had been stripped out. The final result is really lovely - we enjoy our cozy house tremendously!

We’ve been working with STS Construction Services for over four years as stucco specialists. We’ve worked together on small repairs and large projects alike. STS is a very well organized company that communicates well within its many divisions. This has allowed them to efficiently manage many projects at a time while providing quick responses to my questions. I’ve worked with many of their project managers and I appreciate the consistency in the management. I highly recommend this company to any customers looking for commercial or residential remodeling, restoration, and/or waterproofing.

STS Construction Services recently completed a remodel of our kitchen and living room. The goal of our remodel was to make our kitchen completely wheelchair accessible and functional. We had been designing it and drawing up plans for several years. Having been through a couple remodels, I knew that we wanted a contractor who was skilled, prompt, reliable and gave good value for money. In hiring STS, we got all of that and more! STS, from the top down, from the estimator to the crew to the end-of-project cleaners, have a strong determination to do the very best work they can and to make sure the customer is happy. They don’t just get it done, they do it with a pride and thoroughness that is quite amazing in this day and age. Our site supervisor, Trai, took a personal interest in our project. He communicated very clearly, so we always knew what was going on. He and his crew always left the site as clean and organized as they could at the end of the day. Every STS employee we dealt with was caring and considerate and exceeded our expectations of quality of work; they treated the project as if it was their own. Some contractors that I interviewed seemed to be unwilling to work with homeowner designs and expected the customer to work with a professional designer or architect. After reviewing our plans, STS felt they were good enough to do the project, and there was no talk of bringing in professional design people. To make sure that the cabinets for our kitchen were exactly the right height, and also to save money, my husband built them himself. Not all contractors would be willing to work with customer-built cabinets, and we found out later that STS was a bit dubious that he would get them done on time and that they would be of the quality and precision that they were used to. But they took a chance and, for the record, he did and they were. STS responded quickly to any issues or problems that we had. They didn’t cut corners and they made sure that the quality of the final product was excellent throughout, even if it meant doing something over. There were things that I didn’t even notice that they insisted weren’t good enough, and they fixed them. Our experience working with STS Construction has been wonderful. While I don’t miss the dust and inconvenience of the remodel, I do miss the crew. They became like family and friends. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend STS to anyone for any project, and I certainly would be happy to work with them again on a future remodel.

We had an amazing experience with STS after remodeling our entire home. They were professional, timely and a pleasure to work with for our project. The organization they kept and cleanliness during the build was very impressive. Their attention to detail and making sure we were happy as the client was refreshing. I look forward to having a long standing relationship with STS and using them on future projects.

Amazing to work with! This is the second home that we have used STS to remodel, they are professional, hard working, listened to what our vision was and made every step of the process super easy. Would not touch my home but STS Construction!

STS is our contractor for a multi-family building in Seattle. Craig Haveson, the owner, worked closely with our architect to maximize the building size for the site, and has always looked for ways to make this project run smoothly. When there is a bump in the road, his team works hard to solve it in the most efficient and quality way. I have a high level of trust for STS based on how they have conducted themselves throughout this project. They engage quality sub-contractors when needed, but most of the work is done by their own employees, who have a vested interest in doing the best job they can. Overall, I wish I had another project, I would chose STS in a second.

Update 10/16, now about 1/3 complete with project, windows in and roof metal going on next week. Currently under construction, 2nd story addition and remodel of partial first floor. Adding approx 850 SF, 2 bedrooms, master bath, and laundry upstairs into a c1946 rambler. Worked with Craig on the bid and working with Will, Hector and crew on the project. We're though the demo phase and into the "discovery" phase of the remodel. Sometimes the architect and engineer guess/assume and the contractor figures it out! About two weeks left of framing and hope the weather holds. STS team has been great. Good communication, keep the site organized, and very responsive to any issues that come up. So far into the project 1/6 and truly appreciate their professionalism.

A friend referred us to STS after they finished up a kitchen and basement remodel. Two other contractors had walked off that job, but STS stuck with it and made it great. (I know because it family of four later lived in that basement and shared the kitchen while STS remodeled our own house including structural and electrical upgrades, kitchen, two baths, basement, two decks, stairwell, all windows, insulation, and attic.) We also worked with STS on one large and one small retail remodel, which has attracted a lot of compliments and become quite a community gathering place. We have worked with multiple crews doing everything from major structural work to intricate tiling. A nice touch was the cleaning crew at the end of the project - we waited into a sparkling house and ib am trying to keep it that way! STS people are professional, smart, ethical, flexible, reliable and resourceful. I highly recommend working with STS.
