About Us

Soledad Alzaga Interior Design, is a boutique residential and commercial Interior Design firm based in San Francisco. We specialize in unique, stylish spaces, which are sophisticated yet comfortable. We believe that personal style as well as your home design has to be comfortable to you, fit your needs and reflect your personality. Projects in the USA, Mexico and my native city of Buenos Aires range from small projects to construction from the ground up.

I love my remodeled home thanks to Soledad! She has an amazing and unique set of talents: excellent taste, common sense, diplomacy, integrity and knowledge of excellent resources and tradesmen. Remodeling can be incredibly stressful, but Soledad made it enjoyable. Now that the project is over, everyday someone in our family exclaims, "I love this house!". I cannot say enough great things about her work - I highly recommend her.

Soledad has an innate sense of style that is very unique. She combines a European/South American understated elegance with a contemporary flair. She is equally adept at mixing old with new pieces, or working with a fresh palette of a down-to-the-studs renovation. She has worked with many of my clients and is able to understand their "look" without being overly pushy and is sensitive to their budgets.

Sole has incredible taste and a beautiful design aesthetic! She is also incredibly consistent, reliable and timely - she manages to get jobs done on tight deadlines with the highest level of attention to detail and quality! She is also incredibly fun to work with!

I am an architect in San Francisco and have had the pleasure of working with Sole on several projects. We have had a collaborative working relationship for many years which has allowed for a unified vision of architecture and interiors to be achieved in a time-efficient manner. What sets Sole apart from other interior designers is combination of her grace and style coupled with her hands-on approach and can-do attitude. She is brimming with positive energy and is equally poised and engaging when dealing with a wide range of characters from contractors and handymen, architects and fellow designers and homeowners and developers. Sole's Argentine heritage is evident in her enthusiasm, eclecticism and general good-natured attitude. I highly recommend Sole for anyone seeking these attributes in a design partnership – you won’t be disappointed!

Sole can create magic, while she listens to what you want and sticks to a budget, if you have one. If course, she can also deliver the sun, the moon and the stars if you don't have a budget! For Sole, it is all about you, her client, and what you want and can do. Give her the basic info and she delivers beyond what you thought could be possible.

My wife and I worked with Soledad over the course of a year while we were undergoing a large remodel project. She entered our home, quickly accessed the space and offered us instant design advice. Soledad helped us with choosing all materials and finishes during construction as well as post construction. Now that we've moved back in, Soledad is rearranging our art, accessories and furniture in new ways that we had never thought of. Our newly remodeled home is coming together beautifully thanks to the guidance and design expertise that Soledad brings to the table.

Love Sole! She is has an innate talent that mixes a playful boho style with a balanced business acumen. Not an easy task! She inspires and is a delight to work with. I book her home for photo shoots and my clients are always very pleased with the location and with the ease in which they can get creative and make super duper images come to life. I have worked with Soledad on two different projects. Not only is she talented and has impeccable taste, but she is also prompt to find alternatives or solutions when unexpected delays or changes occur during the project. After visiting many of her projects, it quickly became apparent that one of her unique traits (and certainly not common in this business) is that she can adjust her aesthetics to her client's taste and vision for the space. The end result is always a space that feels personal and welcoming and yet has all the detailing and cohesiveness of a well thought out plan. I highly recommend Soledad.
