Signature Design Group

Stay away from this Design Group. Signature Design Group and its owner, Richard "Richie" Clift sold us cabinets from Cabico/ Elmwood. Signature Kitchen required payment in full before they would deliver cabinets. In this way, we were unable to confirm that all cabinets had been delivered prior to providing payment. Some of the cabinets are missing, and one cabinet is the wrong size. The paint quality also is defective, and the paint is literally rubbing off the doors and cabinets from gentle use over just a six month period since install. For example, the paint around the fridge handle already has rubbed off from normal opening / closing of the fridge door. The corners of cabinet doors also have no paint remaining on them, as these too have all rubbed off from normal use. My prior kitchen cabinets were 10 years old and supposedly of lower quality, and I never had this happen. We have made MULTIPLE attempts to contact Signature Design Group and its owner, Richie Clift, to resolve the outstanding issues, but they do not email or call us back. We also are entitled to receive service from the Cabico company- they provided wrong hinges, etc-, but Richie Clift will not provide us with the contact information for the service support team. Signature Design Group has abandoned the contract and abandoned us as clients. This has been a terrible company to work with.

After several months of evaluating kitchen contractors, we decided on Signature Design Group based on reputation and pricing criteria. The design process and eventual installation phase surpassed our expectations. There was minimal disruption to our daily routine. The owner called us at the end of each day to see how things were going and to advise us on what to expect the following day. The finished product was excellent. All concerns we had were addressed and resolved and the project remained within our projected budget. Our thanks to the entire team at Signature Design Group.

This group was recommended to us from a friend of a friend. We met with Rich to discuss the renovation of our two very small bathrooms and we're pleased with his suggestions and design. While this may have been a small job compared to the of the other projects he was working on, Rich and his team took the time to go over all the details, down to going tile shopping with us. The crew that came to work on our bathrooms were prompt, hardworking, polite and made sure to clean up at the end of every day. My husband and I are very happy with the way they came out.
