After our first meeting with Scott Daves, we knew he was the professional contractor we wanted to build our custom home. He is a master of organization and knows the construction business from years of experience. He has built a team of quality craftsman and vendors who take great pride in their work and are service oriented. Scott stands by his work, and was very transparent when it came to budget and change orders. We are delighted with the finished product and look forward to many years in our new home.

This is the first house we have ever built, and my husband has told those who ask that he would gladly build again, but only if Scott Daves was in charge. Scott listened very carefully to what we wanted, made suggestions where necessary, and then made it happen. The house was completed on time, on budget except where we chose to upgrade, I.e., reclaimed antique heart pine floors. He is an honest, knowledgeable builder with an eye for detail, who has excellent interpersonal skills. All subcontractors were skilled and pleasant to be around, and most had worked for Scott for a long time. We could not be more pleased with Scott and our new house!

Scott Daves came highly recommended to us and it's easy now to see why. Our home was personalized and built exactly as envisioned with every detail executed by hand selected tradesmen who have worked with Scott for years. Scott's passion for high quality workmanship, integrity, and client satisfaction sets him apart, in my opinion, from the rest of the industry. His foreman, Steve, went above and beyond to customize the home of our dreams while balancing the management of a tight construction schedule. Our home building experience was very informative, organized, and therefore stress-free. Scott even fostered our 4 year old's interest in the construction of our home providing very personal opportunities for involvement that will remain treasured memories. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

After meeting with other high end builders in the Triangle, we chose Scott Daves to build our new custom home. From the beginning, we were impressed with his organization, knowledge base, professionalism, and communication style. Over the course of the project, his attention to detail never failed, and he constantly strove to meet and exceed our high expectations. He took our many special requests in stride, and the end result is a truly custom home that is just what we hoped it would be. All of this was accomplished on schedule, a testament to the planning and foresight Scott gives to his projects. His foreman, Steve, is equally dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed to perfecting every detail. We are thrilled with our new home. I have worked with Scott on 2 different projects separated by 10 years. Both times I found him to be an invaluable resource, vendor and most of all, a partner in helping us get what we wanted (& needed but didn't know). He was always personally involved. He always cared about the quality of the work and our satisfaction with the project. He stayed right on budget - even saving us money with an understanding of our objectives and the knowledge base of an experienced and intelligent builder who actually cares about the customer. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

After having Scott build our home in 2009 we decided to finish an unfinished area for a theater room. Scott's team again surpassed our expectations. The room turned out exactly as we had envisioned it and the workmanship superb! A short five weeks from start to finish. Now movie night is just a few steps away!

Commented: Love the ceilingThe ceiling height is 11' and the coffer hangs down 8". The windows are 6' tall and the tops are set at 8' above the finished floor.
