Wineteer Builders made changes to my basement quarters to convert it to an in-law's quarters. To start with, to eliminate a dampness problem in the basement, the entire front of the house was excavated down to the base of the foundation. The outside basement wall was then sealed with a waterproof membrane. Drainage panels and french drains were then installed. On the inside of the basement, the open stairway from the main floor to the basement was enclosed and a laundry closet was added. A kitchenette was also added that required new plumbing, appliances and cabinetry to be installed. Existing flooring was replaced with porcelain tile, and the entire quarters was painted. Mr Wineteer is trustworthy and has a real depth of knowledge. He is really insistent on following the building codes and does the work the right way. He sticks with the project until it is finished, and if unforeseen difficulties occur he explains the problem, offers alternatives for addressing the problem along with the associated effects on the budget and schedule. He is open minded in considering the customers preferences. I don't have anything negative to say about him.

We contracted with Rodney Wineteer Remodeling to convert our screened in porch to an additional room in our house. We found Rodney to be honest, reliable, and dependable. His workmanship is excellent and he was involved in every aspect of the project. My husband and I recommend Rodney for any home construction project needed.
