We bought the wood use through out our house at Riverbend. The wood we bought was new wood, but the character grade wood that Alex recommended for our house remodel has the appeal of a well loved antique. In the downstairs we used a combination of quarter sawn and rift cut wood. I couldn't envision what it would look like so Alex made up samples for me in different widths and finishes so that I could be sure I liked the final product. His recommendation to randomly use the rift and quarter sawn boards was perfect. The wood was delivered quickly and the amount was measured accurately. When I wanted a little more wood for an area I hadn't figured on, Alex had it made up and delivered within a very short time. It was a wonderful experience working with Alex at Riverbend. All the professionals that he recommended were top quality as well.
