Red, blue & yellow, the contemporary furniture store was set up by the young trio of Karishma Bajaj, Asim Merchant and Paul Rodrigues in 2000. The three partners were united in a singular passion for furniture and design in general. There was a large void in India with regards to original contemporary furniture design. Their idea was to fill this void, while at some level, addressing the Indian perspective of design within the contemporary idiom. With a primary focus on original design, the trio has had to extend their purview to design, manufacture and retail. Asim, Karishma & Paul wanted their designs to be very applicable in any home & décor so while designing very modern & contemporary pieces, they are timeless. Each piece can blend in with all kinds of interiors but maintains its own identity. RBY prides itself on the fact that all its designs are unique, original and contemporary, setting the store apart from other furniture stores in the city.
