As someone new to the world of home remodeling, I was feeling a bit lost, not knowing where to start. But EZ Plans stepped in and made the whole process much smoother than I could have imagined. My project involved adding a small master bedroom, bathroom, and closet to my home—less than 300 square feet in total. What stood out to me about EZ Plans was their approachability and their willingness to guide me through every step of the project. Pilar, the senior design manager, was instrumental in making this journey enjoyable. Her expertise and patience were evident from the first interaction. She took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand, even for someone like me who had limited knowledge of adding anything to a house, let alone another bedroom. Pilar's support made a significant difference, as she was always available to address my questions and concerns. Working with EZ Plans felt like a collaborative effort, which I truly appreciated. Wonderful experience - reliable, creative designers, easy to work with and all-round great customer service. I have heard horror stories about how long it can take to get permits in Los Angeles, but they got it done in a very timely manner. We used EZ Plans for the construction of my home office and would highly recommend them for any of your construction needs.

Hello Readers, This is Serge Abdalian owner of EINFINITE DESIGNS INC, a design build contractor here in Los Angeles. I have been a general contractor for the past 30 years working on mid to high end homes. I have and do work with many architects and structural engineers on many of my projects that are brought to me from many sources. I now am building a addition to my home and wanted to make it be as smooth as possible because even with all of the architects and engineers i have its always a delay in some way. So then i decided to find someone totally new to work with. After some research i came across EZ Plans, Inc. and after reading their reviews i decided to give them a call. I had a on line meeting with them and right off the start felt very comfortable based on all my questions and their answers. Price well they were almost 4k more than my 2 other architects but the most important thing for me was the fact that i new this was going to be the best decision to go with them and i did. From the beginning i worked with Pilar who is amazing from designing and communication. She was there for me at all times with super fast responses. Everything they told me and had down on my contract matched and they never failed. Again thank you so much Pilar you are the best. Since then i have already given them a new project i have that they are working on and again same delivery of what they promised. So if you are looking for a good firm that will come through go with EZ Plans and make sure you work with Pilar but the rest of the team is as great ash she is. Good luck all.

EZ Plans is absolutely phenomenal! Mark, Pilar, Cindy, THANK YOU! Let me start by saying that I was not urged or conditionally asked for this review like many businesses requests nowadays. Based on my experience, I can not say enough great things about ez plans. The team and their professionalism was simply top tier. Unfortunately, I started my journey with a different firm and had the opportunity to see the night & day differences. After wasting time, money, and energy with the first firm, I had enough and nearly lost hope. Enter EZ Plans! Guys, they have a comprehensive, transparent, and procedural system in place that makes for the best experience. Mark guided me through aspects related to costs, milestones, issuing plans, city approvals, and more. Pilar, who was my project lead, covered my floor plan design and was absolutely fantastic!! Pilar worked closely with me, she listened to understand and ultimately designed a beautifully enhanced version of the original vision. She worked closely with the architect to design the best architectural and structural plan, which resulted in only one small revision requested by the city, just one! I did not have to chase anyone down for updates, I did not have to spend time researching city regulations and asking for corrections, I was able to focus on everything else going on in my life, knowing they had everything under control. Lastly, as an added bonus, they offered a complimentary contractor referral service! After the permit was ready to issue, I was contacted by Cindy, who has done an incredible job gathering and scheduling various contractor bids and proposals for my project. I have another project coming up in the near future and this is absolutely my go-to team.

We started off on a search for a good Architect for our new custom home construction. After checking with multiple architects and then with EZ plans . We are so glad to find them as their fees structure is very straightforward and no hidden fees like other architects. And when we met Michael for the first time .. I knew that he will be the one to design our dream home ..! He is super knowledgeable and expert and we are very happy with the contemporary look of the design that he did for us as per the needs . He is very friendly and patient and did not mind making multiple changes to the design as per our need . The best part is Michael is very knowledgeable with Feng shu and Indian Vaastu as well which not every architect is aware of .. And Mark is such an amazing person to work with whenever we need anything regarding our project and always available whenever we call him !! I’m soo glad to choose EZ plans for our dream project and excited to check out the final output . I’m 100% sure it will be the best and unique!

I've had many projects requiring architects the traditional way. After moving from SF to LA during the pandemic, I needed to find a new architect within the new normal of our world. EZ Plans sends out a 3D scan photographer to map out the site as a prep to a preliminary meeting over video. In someways a more convenient and bundled method than doing a single walkthrough with an architect. Each step of the process was thoroughly explained, great communication by each member of the team. Pilar and Michelle, my contacts at EZ Plans, took a deep dive into the history of the property to discover both the limitations and restrictions of my ADU project. In the end they were able to unlock a huge gain on square footage that I didn't think would be possible. Before I knew it, we were already looking at the first version of the layout, and the team was very open about my suggestions and changes. Two or three rounds later, they were off to the city. Four months later, we had our permit. Very "EZ", and everything was well "Plan"ed. ;). Highly recommended at 1/3 or 1/2 the cost of a traditional architecture firm.

I would like to thank EZ plans and especially Pilar for the great plan and especially the patio on the 2nd floor that we never thought about it. She sent us the 3 dimension plan which showed clearly the design and based on that, we were able to edit it to get our "dream addition". Thanks again.

Not really knowing where to start in the stressful planning of a whole house remodel, I decided to start with looking for an architect. Some architects charge a percentage of the total cost of the work done on the remodel, whereas EZ plans charges a fixed fee. I liked the idea of a fixed fee and decided to make an appointment for a consultation. I first met with Mark via zoom and he explained the entire process and addressed all of my questions. Impressed with the consultation, i decided to proceed with working with them. I was then assigned to Pilar, the senior designer manager, who drew up the plans for my future home. I went over with her the things that my family wanted in the newly designed home. We wanted to have a larger kitchen, two master suites, and walk in closets. She was so patient and receptive to our requests. We went back and forth a couple of times and each time she made the necessary changes to the plans and each time it was better than the last. She understood my vision for the house and made it so much better than I could've ever imagined. She transformed our house from a 3 bedroom/2bathroom to a 4 bedroom/3bathroom with two master suites. She regularly kept me updated via phone calls and emails and before I knew it, ours plans were ready for permits. Overall I have had an amazing experience with working with the EZ Plans team specifically Fernando, Mark, Pilar, Michelle, Lesley, and Cindy. If I decide to add an ADU to my property I would definitely use EZ plans again.

I was referred to EZ Plans through an architect friend of mine and he steered me in the right direction. EZ Plans helped guide me through the very detailed process of planning, designing and obtaining permits from the city (LA) for an additional dwelling unit (ADU) in my backyard in Northeast Los Angeles. The architects assigned to me and their colleagues aided me through every step, and even when the permitting process was difficult, they were very attentive to working out all the issues and making sure that my project was on the right path to coming to fruition. We worked together on this ADU during the pandemic which posed even more challenges, but EZ Plans made the process, like it says in their name, easy. I am just a couple weeks away from breaking ground and I am beyond thrilled to see the vision that EZ Plans and I put on paper come to life. My wife found EZ Plans online. She saw their work and decided to schedule an appointment. We spoke to one of the principles at EZ Plan and decided to move forward. We were assigned to Pilar, one of their designers. We were blown away with her work. We've always dreamt about having a custom home and we felt she was able to put our ideas into reality. She was VERY responsive to all of our questions and helped with all the vendors that was associated with the planning/ build/ city permits. We were glad to have her on side. Her design included a 2-story single family dwelling and a detached ADU. We would definitely recommend Pilar to all my friends and family.
