We bought a 12 year old condo that need renovation, design, and space planning. Kathleen met with us, determined our taste and color scheme, create a floor plan, and selected a contractor that was able to do the work needed for renovation. She then made and plan, chose several options of furniture and color for us to pick from and coordinated construction and ordering of furniture, fixtures, paint, carpet, and other materials needed. She was available to answer questions and made phone calls to check on orders. We are so pleased with work, not only did she capture our taste, but she created a place that really feels like home. Kathleen was great to work with, courteous, friendly, and personable. She has a real knack for capturing colors and styles that work well together.

My husband and I have enjoyed working with Kathleen Ramsey on several interior design projects, most recently our master bedroom, bathroom & closet. Our home looked okay before Kathleen worked her magic, but now it is really beautiful. We get compliments from everyone who comes to our home. From the color selections to the fabrics, finishes and furnishings, every room is beautiful. And Kathleen is a lot of fun to work with, too! I especially enjoy the collaborative way she works to ensure the homeowner's personality and style is reflected.

Kathleen did a wonderful job of creating several designs for the re-do of our kitchen from which we made our decision. She identified several kitchen contractors from whom we could make a selection. She was especially helpful in providing suggestions and support with the selection of critical design elements like tile, backsplash and countertops. We would highly recommend her!

I hired Kathleen Ramsey to design and oversee the complete renovation of an older home. She is an excellent designer, who quickly learned my style and taste after our initial meetings. In every phase of the design project, she always listened to my preferences, respected my choices, gave constructive advice, and developed the best plan for implementation. She was well prepared for all of our meetings. She was proactive with every aspect of the selection process, helped me realize what my wants and needs were, and put together the entire concept. She also incorporated art work and furniture that I already had into the design, where applicable. Furthermore, she saw to the day to day details of the project and helped me to manage the usual issues with the general contractor (which always arise with any project). Every cost estimate and time estimate were spot on. The final project turned out better than I had hoped. Kathleen is the consummate professional. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her.

When I decided to revamp the master bedroom and bath area, I was a bit apprehensive. I knew the "feel" that I wanted to achieve but was not quite sure how to make it happen. Kathleen was wonderful - she took the time to listen to my ideas and concerns and then laid out in detail two very different options for me to choose from for the bedroom design. The bathroom area had all cabinets and tile replaced. Kathleen worked with the contractor to insure that everything went smoothly and according to plans. I couldn't be more pleased! Our boring bedroom and bath area has been transformed into a comfortable, relaxing and beautiful retreat. Thanks Kathleen! Since that time Kathleen has helped me update our lower level bath and living area with the same great results. Kathleen has a wonderful eye for color and texture - she is a true professional and a joy to work with.
