About Us

Rachel Belden Interior Design, LLC, established in 2003, is a full service interior design firm dedicated to customer satisfaction. From our initial meeting, I begin to collect each client's thoughts and tastes and begin to stretch their imagination; together we create a comfortable, yet timeless interior. I take advantage of a wide selection of home furnishings which bring uniqueness and variety to each project. Close communication, patience, a sense of humor and attention to detail are my trademarks. I work closely with clients to clarify objectives and set priorities. This collaboration helps clients avoid costly mistakes and allows us to focus effectively on creating interiors that enhance their lifestyle.

Rachel was wonderful to work with! She is very professional & fun. She had many great & innovative ideas & we were very happy with her designs. We could not have gotten the designer look we were hoping for without her help & expertise. We highly recommend her.

Working with Rachel was a like having our own HGTV dream come true! She was professional, friendly and fun from day one. We felt like she got to know us on a personal level, which helped make her designs and the end results EXACTLY what we were hoping for. She was willing to help us with our lake cottage renovation when others told us the project was either too small or too complicated for our budget. There were a lot of challenges with our space: odd layouts, crooked walls, and limited seasonal access. Rachel took all of these in stride and worked within her network of talented builders and craftspeople to transform our house into something truly special. When the project was done, we had a gem of a home on our hands and a ton of great memories from the renovation and decoration process. We couldn't ask for more!

I highly recommend Rachel for your interior design project! She was a joy to work with, always professional, she worked within my budget and when decisions and changes needed to be made, we worked together. It was fun to see how things evolved from the beginning of my project to the end, I finished with a much better result than what I had originally planned, because of Rachel. Her ideas and advice were solid. My husband, who basically began with, "let's just get a few pieces of new furniture, we don't need anything else" ended with, "I never knew a master suite could be an inviting, peaceful oasis!" Most of all, I enjoyed Rachel's sense of humor and her easy manner. She gets it, and she gets it done.

From an interior photographer's perspective, Rachel was the perfect client. She offered enough input to determine elements and views that were important to each room's design but also allowed me to offer my own creative input. She was easy to communicate with during pre-planning and fun to chat with during the shoot. From a homeowner's perspective, her design style is stunning…clean, comfortable and casual with just the right balance of color and hints of shabby chic style.

Rachel was a joy and very easy to work with. She communicated well and worked well with my foreman throughout the project. She added designs to our woodworking that were simple yet created a very good result. She has a great eye for color and design. The tile and design she used in the bathrooms and kitchen were stunning. She chose reclaimed beams for the fireplace mantle that fit the decor perfectly. She was very efficient and mindful of the budget. I would use Rachel again without reservation.

I discovered during our extensive construction project that having hired Rachel who is ASID certified, thorough, professional and patient is invaluable. Rachel was always available to come over or to take phone calls to help with design decisions or changes as construction was happening which saved time and money in the long run. In the meanwhile Rachel and I met numerous times to discuss overall materials, finishes, window treatments, furniture and paint colors that would best reflect our family's personal style. We love the finished project and enjoyed working with Rachel!

Rachel helped choose and design window treatments, lighting fixtures, and paint colors for my kitchen and office additions. She has wonderful vision and ideas, and most importantly took into account my style when making suggestions. Her design consultation really helped me pull the whole addition together for a finished product that I love! She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I plan to work with her again on my next home project.

Rachel and I have done multiple projects together now and I have to say, not only is she pleasant to work with but she brings a confidence level to the job that is needed for it to be successfully completed. Rachel's decisions are thoughtful and thorough so that all aspects of the job come together for a harmonious finished product. What I like the most about Rachel is her relentless positive attitude and all around pleasant nature.
