About Us

Pratt Design has evolved from roots in the cosmetic, home furnishing and fashion industries. We have been in the interior and architectural design field for more than twenty years. We’re proud to create projects in collaboration with an accomplished team of contractors, architects and artisans with whom we’ve built trusting and productive relationships. We enjoy the process of creating unique architecturally designed interiors that add beauty and comfort to our clients’ lives. The majority of our projects are designed from the ground up but we welcome renovations and smaller dreams as well. Where possible or essential, our furnishings are designed in-house and then executed by our craftsmen. In my professional capacity as Director of Marketing for a number of home furnishing firms, my experience dealing with Pratt Design over the course of several years has been extensive and wide-ranging. Mr. Pratt takes each project from original inception of design, utilizing illustrations to aid with visualizing concepts to flawless execution, consistently within budget. Projects included showroom design involving confiuguration of space, subsequent construction of room settings, selection of color themes, props and styling for multiple product categories, all designed to enhance merchandise presentation and promote sales. Both senior management and customers were universally receptive. Mr. Pratt posesses a rare ability to partner his unique and diverse creative talents with practical application taking into account customer goals, deadlines and budgetary demands. He and his personally selected team demonstarte the highest caliber of integrity and commitment to the successful completion of each project. We worked with Pratt Design on and off for the past 10 years, whenever we needed to upgrade another room. Our last project was the tedious challenge of bringing our kitchen up to date. Every time we think about selling our beautiful home (in order to downsize), we end up redesigning instead. We couldn’t be happier with Pratt Design’s creativity and technical knowledge. They’re a pleasure to work with and save me a lot of time and energy sourcing materials, hiring contractors and then supervising them. Zev Pratt’s optimism and patience has eased our anxiety many times . All in all, Pratt Design provided us with classic, yet modern, design solutions. We highly recommend them for any project.

Zev Pratt has a great eye for design! He has an intuitive sense of color, proportion and texture. He has designed my living room, dining room, bathroom and 3 bedrooms. With each job, he has put in countless hours of research to present lots of choices and design ideas. Each room has its own sense of character, especially the bedrooms which were tailored to each of my children's personalities. He worked with some of my existing furniture, he was budget friendly, always accessible by phone email and text. He is detail oriented, creative, patient and a really pleasant person to work with. I get so many compliments on the way my house looks. I have referred him to family and friends and everyone has been thrilled with the outcome. I can't wait to work with him on my next project!
