Leading Interior Designers in Columbus, Ohio & Ponte Vedra, Florida

Snider & Metcalf Interior Design has been serving clients both nationally and internationally for over a decade from our two locations: Columbus, Ohio and Ponte Vedra, Florida. We are both members of ASID (American Society of Interior Design) and hold degrees in interior design. Peggy earned her design degree from Kendall College of Art and Design (of Ferris State) in Grand Rapids Michigan, after graduating from Hillsdale College, also in Michigan. Bethany obtained her design degree from The Ohio State University, after which she earned her NCIDQ certification, and is a past president of ASID. As designers, our goal is to capture your style and create a vision which is the best version of that style. After all, YOU live there, not us. With over 35 years of experience in residential and commercial design, we have had the privilege of working in a variety of genres from modern and contemporary to coastal and traditional. We pride ourselves in executing timelessly designed interiors. Because we understand today’s busy lifestyle, we work hard to ensure your home is functional, livable, and of course a beautiful reflection of you. We are a full-service design company providing floor plans and elevations, flooring, wall coverings, window treatments, furniture, lighting, and more. My wife and I are so appreciative of Bethany at Snider/Metcalf Interior Design, LTD. We had a vision for our new home but with so many options it became overwhelming. Bethany was able to see our vision and helped pull everything together with results beyond our expectations and we are so happy!!! I worked with Bethany Metcalf on redoing my master suite/bath as well as an additional bathroom and living room. She is extremely professional and very responsive in her communication, which I really value highly. She does a wonderful job of taking your vision and guiding you through the process to execute it. She also worked really well with the contractor, so I always felt like I had a full team working to make sure I had a great finished product.

We recently purchased a condo and moved from our traditional home. I hired Bethany Metcalf to help me in choosing furnishings for the condo and with a remodeling project. Bethany helped me pick out furniture, lighting and accessories that fit my new home and she was in tune with my color preferences and had an eye on every detail that I would not have thought of on my own. Bethany provided me with options to choose from and I was delighted with how it all came together. She was easy to work with and listened to my concerns. I had a remodeling project and Bethany helped my with that too. Again, she offered design ideas that were detailed and look great. She worked with the general contractor and architect to make the project a success. And she was available to answer questions from the contractor on design as the project progressed. I enjoyed working with Bethany and would use her again on a project.

Bethany and Peg were great to work with on the interior design for our new home. We were moving from our family home of many years to a new home that was a completely different style and location. They took the time to understand our style and color preferences, and then developed a plan to finish our home in a way that fit us and looks amazing. It was a very interactive and iterative process. As we worked our way through each space they brought ideas to us and options, helping us see how it would work together. Our input was taken and incorporated into every aspect of the project, and we became very comfortable with the give and take of the process. They brought some really unique ideas that make our home one of a kind. They also brought a lot of really great resources to the table and managed the process well. They had a team of contractors, carpenters, painters, finishers etc. that made the whole process so much easier. We had worked with other designers on previous homes but this was our best experience by far. The result is a home that we love and fits our style beautifully. If we ever need a design team for another home project we would definitely choose them again.

Beth is helping me design my wedding & event venue from the inside and out! She has thought of everything I haven't and is very detailed in every aspect. From windows, lighting, colors, fabrics and finishes she is pulling it all together for me! She is so pleasant to work with and her thought and talent for her projects are superior. We worked with Bethany Metcalfe to decorate our house and we couldn’t have had a better experience. We had a pretty unique vision that we wanted to come to life and Bethany worked with that vision and brought us some beautiful furnishing ideas to bring it to life. She also helped with our bathroom design and figure out the right scale and placement for furniture. Without her help we never would’ve pulled off our look and our long, narrow, formal living room would’ve been an unfinished mess. Well work with Bethany again In the Future when we have additional needs and we highly recommend working with her.

I hired Bethany Metcalf to help me choose finishes for a kitchen remodel. Right from the start, Bethany listened carefully to my ideas and concerns and made the process much less intimidating. I really appreciated her work with the contractor and how she helped me to achieve a much better finished and functional kitchen than I would have otherwise. I hired Bethany Metcalf to design my four season room over this past summer. I was very pleased with the result and she fulfilled all my expectations for this project. Not only was she quick to understand my sense of style, needs, preferences, she was very professional, easy to talk to, and conscientious of my budget. I was very impressed with how quickly Bethany would transform my rather loose descriptions of what I wanted into a design concept so quickly and effortlessly. It was not at all stressful as I had anticipated (as I had never used a designer before) because I did not feel the pressure to get everything done and paid until I was ready. She always made sure that all communication was clear and that we were on the same page before placing orders on the furniture. I also really appreciated being able to just text her and drop her a line whenever a new thought came to mind and she was quick to give me her feedback. She was a professional every step of the way and a joy to work with. We are now working on my dining room !

I first met with Bethany Metcalf when we began a major renovation on our home and immediately liked her warm personality and professionalism. Because she makes great effort to learn her client’s tastes and vision, her selections throughout the process were always spot-on. She was integral in helping us make many major decisions and worked well with our contractors. We first worked with Bethany when we moved into our home in 2000. The design she put together for us still feels timeless and current today. This year, we renovated our family room and are thrilled with the results. Bethany listened to our desires and developed a plan that we love and she even designed and commissioned a couple custom pieces when we couldn’t find the perfect fit. She was careful to stay within the budget we agreed upon and was fun to work with. We highly recommend Bethany and look forward to working with her again.

Commented: What is the name of this ledger stone?We did this kitchen a few years ago and I don't recall the exact name. However, there are several manufactures that have the same look and most tile houses carry this look. Hope that helps.
