Pam's experience and portfolio speak for themselves! This woman is talented, creative and a blast to work with! Pam and I have partnered on several projects and when I am booked I am happy to refer her to any clients I can't take on. She has a great work ethic and is very involved in the design community. She's currently serving as the President of ASID's Orange County Chapter. I highly recommend her!

Things started off very nicely with Pam. She came through for us when we were in a rush to pick colors to paint our new house, and she gave great feedback on our planned new wood flooring. We were happy also that was able to do hourly rates rather than a fixed (and expense) rate per room. However, she also offered to help with selecting and ordering furniture. We'd picked out a bunch of things from RH which we liked, but the price was somewhat high. Pam said she could get us equivalent things (often from the same manufactures as in the case of lights) but at a somewhat lower price. We did take Pam's offer on these furnishings, and this is where we had a lot of problems. Search and Order Fees: Pam searched for products we wanted and shared them with us. In general she charged us 0.5 hours per product (she told us this was less time than she actually spent). While this make sense of large purchase items - on smaller things like a $400 bowl - any back and forth discussion on whether we liked her suggestions was very expensive - and in the end we should have just gotten the $400 bowl rather than trying to find a $200 bowl and paying for an hour or 2 of her time. Secondly - when we'd picked out and confirmed items - we kept getting bills unexpectedly - for time spent physically placing the orders. Again this was roughly 0.5 hours minimum per item. Item Quality We also had a lot of issues with product quality. The lighting and electronics especially had problems. We ordered 3 sets of lights from her and 2 sets of fans. Our kitchen lights hung crooked and had dents in the glass. Pam agreed to take dining lights back - but charged us a $400 restocking fee for these ($135/light). The lightbulbs in our dining lights kept going out. Our 2 fans both stopped working. Each time she blamed our electrician and questioned whether they had a license. However, the electrician clearly showed us why the lights were tilted and that there wasn't an issue in hanging them. Meanwhile the fans both had problems and while they were under a warranty Pam said we had to return the whole fan to her to get service on them. The cost of uninstalling the fan and reinstalling new fans was already the whole cost of the fans! But Pam wouldn't give us the information we needed to reach out to the manufacturer directly - as she has a policy - "I don't share invoices with customers". And we needed the invoice to talk to the manufacturer. Pam did do a nice job with our living room light, and she did do a nice job with our bathroom vanity order. Wrong Size Bed Frame The biggest issue we had is that Pam ordered the wrong side bed frame for us. She confirmed with us via email, our invoice, and another time on the phone that it was a King size bed and not a California King Size bed. And then we received a California King size bed. 6 months later - this has not been resolved. Disclaimer: Pam states that we ordered a Cal King Size Bed.

Pam was a great help in giving me an overall renovation plan to update our home. She has a depth of knowledge plus a passion for home designs whether it's a new or update to an existing home. We spent dedicated time talking and sharing ideas and creating a punch list of items room by room. Then we spent hours on the phone talking, sharing colors, fabrics, and more as I worked through each room of the house. Her guidance and knowledge of how to update rooms without 'starting from scratch' helps your remodeling dollars go further. It's been over a year now and I am still going strong with her master plan!

Pam Barthold assisted us in selecting and installing new pantry and storage cabinets in our laundry room. She is an excellent listener and asked significant questions so that she would be able to develop a design that would meet our specific needs. Pam was especially good about understanding the space constraints of the area and planning the design to maximize storage capacity. She was knowledgeable regarding the vendors that would be most appropriate for our job and that would complement the design esthetic of the space. Pam was accessible for questions during the process. It was a pleasure to work with Pam and we would consider her for any future design and remodeling projects.

I interviewed several designers and hired Pam from Pazzam designs because of her professionalism and creativity and I am so happy I did! She transformed our home into a beautiful coastal elegant place for my family and I to enjoy for years! It was so easy and fun working with Pam as she made the process a dream!

It was my good fortune to be paired with Pam of Pazzam Designs through the Houzz website. Pam helped me put together a guest bedroom by adding a few pieces of furniture, wall art, texture and color. What blew me away was how Pam picked up on my style and added that little bit of refinement that I needed. She's a professional. She works in timely fashion and guided me through the entire project. I will most definitely call Pam again when I am ready to tackle my next project.

it was so great being able to utilize Pam's services from across the country. She provided a detailed drawing for my contractor that was perfect. We face timed and she was able to completely understand my goals and vision and provided a perfect rendering. We love the dramatic effect her designs provided! Oh and she was super quick with the turnaround of our drawings. Loved that!!

Creativity, Class and Resourcefulness! I’ve worked with Pam to finetune design plans for our bathroom and Kitchen, and always found that her knack for choosing color, materials and suggesting stylish creative elements is spot on. I have known Pam for many years. She is extremely talented, creative, and professional. She listens intently to understand others, asks appropriate questions, and speaks directly. She works hard to solve her clients' needs, both on time and within budget. I have seen her work over the years, and I know she works tirelessly to please. Her ability to see an end result while it is still in concept, and then make it become a reality, is amazing. You will not be disappointed with Pam! Besides being so talented, Pam is a lot of fun!

I will begin by saying that I saw several of Pam's creations at a 'design house' and was really impressed with her imaginative display. I asked her to come to my house and do something similar for my Christmas decor. The room is a small entry bathroom with an oversized glass-enclosed shower. She looked at it, asked some questions about what I usually did for Christmas, asked about colors and other items that would influence her design. She asked what my budget was and we agreed on a limit. She came back at the day we set and did the 'install', which involved about 3 hours...I peeked occasionally and was thrilled with the potential! The final product was beyond my expectations and through the holidays guests (male and female, young and old) came out of that room as thrilled as if they had seen Santa for the first time!

My husband and I are so excited that we had Pam take a look at our home and give us ideas about what we could do with our kitchen, living room, and extra living space. She was timely, professional, and her knowledge of architectural styles helped us make the best decision for our taste and budget. We would highly recommend her for any interior and/or exterior project!

Pam is so creative and caring! She listens carefully and searches thoroughly for ways to create beauty in one's home. She is a pleasure to work with!
