Clement Mac

Patti is wonderful to work with. We worked with her on a kitchen/bath remodel and decoration of another house. She has a great eye for color/pattern combinations. She is perceptive and responsive to her clients' needs. She was recommended to us by a friend who had a kitchen remodel. My friend's style preference is very different from mine. Yet, we both love the remodel/design work Patti did for our respective houses. I highly recommend her!

Patti was referred to us by neighbors that had used her services. We had just moved into a new home and needed help coordinating furniture, paint, rugs, etc. We needed help getting out of the beige and neutral color hell we had been in. Within a few weeks of our initial meeting, Patti had pulled together several different color schemes with fabric swatches for drapes and furniture to choose from. We went through room by room and talked about how we "live" in each room, then made recommendations about types of furniture that would achieve our goal. We had toddlers at the time so we didn't want anything with sharp edges or easily breakable and she worked around our needs perfectly. She was also very good about incorporating any pieces of art or furniture that we already owned and wanted to keep with the new furniture. She made it all work together beautifully. After all our furniture arrived, she swooped in with loads of accessories and "styled" each room. My husband and I were in shock to see the transformation of each room, how everything fit together so perfectly and how each item contributed to the room as a whole. We were finally out of beige hell! it really was amazing to witness. I gave Patti 4 stars instead of 5 because I think as a designer in SF, it is really easy to head to the Design Center as the primary stop - it is easy and convenient. We did not have a champagne budget or a beer budget for that matter, we were somewhere in the middle. For our budget, I did a lot (and I mean weeks) of searching online to find similar items we'd seen at the Design Center that were far less expensive options for us. I think it is important to have multiple "go to" sources for varying budgets. That said, we have used Patti again on subsequent projects and would enlist her services again as our home and rooms evolve. We have come to value and respect her talents a great deal.

Clement Mac has transformed my home many times. The founder, Patti, has a fantastic sense of space, texture, color and her client's budget. In my mind, those are all the qualities you need in an interior designer. She takes what I already own and love; adds a few new pieces; moves things around and presto! I have what feels like a new condo. I work with Clement Mac at least twice a year. Their design skills exceed my expectations every time. You'll be delighted if you engage Patti and team. And, the added bonus is that you will have a lot of fun working with them.

I love my living space and I have Patti to credit for that. When I moved into my apartment, I had lots of art work and furniture and no idea whatsoever how to arrange it. She came in and in one day created a space that is pulled together, welcoming, and functional. Since that project, I have hired her to buy additional furniture to finish off my living room and dining room. She has listened well and come up with great ideas that are affordable and "me". My friends rave about how nice my place looks. I recommend her without reservation.

Patti helped me and my husband with a complete renovation on our new "fixer" house 2 years ago. She helped us figure out the room layouts, choose paint colors, flooring, furniture, etc.. We especially wanted a functional but fun room for our kids, a boy and girl who share a room. She gave them the perfect "retreat/play space." THEY LOVE it!! There are so many decisions to make that it is overwhelming. Patti helped us SAVE money by steering us down the right path. Our new home is stylish, modern and luxurious all within a reasonable budget. She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with! We were thrilled with the results from all of her recommendations.
