We are a "Husband and Wife Team" based in Huntington Beach and serving all of Orange County (including Long Beach) since 2004. Our crew consists of skilled craftsmen, innovators and problem solvers. Jim has over 25 years experience and is a master at his craft, while America is a dedicated project manager with a diligent focus on customer satisfaction. OC Home Builders, Inc. is a family run business. America and her husband Jim, split the job with America running the administrative, & financial end of the business and Jim running the construction. My wife and I could not be more thankful for the absolutely professional service we received from them. They were efficient, thoughtful, precise, well priced, and most importantly honest. The prices they quoted us did not change, and they were up front with any changes that had to be made and what if anything they would cost. OC Homebuilders, Inc., utilized their close relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of all products was high and the cost was low. Our brand new kitchen could not look any better and it is all thanks to the work of America, Jim, their entire family and team. I would recommend them without hesitation for any upcoming project you have planned for your home!!

From day one, America was very patient and went above and beyond to explain how remodeling projects work. She assisted us in getting our building plans approved all without any commitment from us to select her company as our builder! Ultimately, we selected OC Home Builders because they checked all of our boxes: customer service, quality of work, great reputation, and competitive pricing. Throughout the process, America and Jim were very transparent. It was reassuring that changes to our project were warmly received by America and Jim, who stressed how important it was for us to be happy. The job was done exceptionally well, with minimal noise, dust and disruption. The crew (Paul, Derrick, Clay, Chase, David) was friendly, talented, professional and punctual, always taking time to explain where the project was at and what to expect. We are so incredibly happy with our new kitchen and open floor plan! So many more great things to say about OC Home Builders. Thank you again!

O C Home Builders just remodeled my bathroom and it turn out beautiful. Everyone that was involved in the remodel were very professional and friendly. Every evening before everyone went home for the day they made sure to clean up after themselves, this was much appreciated. In the future If I need something else remodel I will definitely call O C Home Builders

We had OCHB remodel our master bathroom. The work included removing a spa tub, extending the shower area, installing tile and the counter top, and updating the lighting. From the first meeting until the completion of the project we found them to be an excellent company. America and Jimmy were always available to answer questions and responded in a timely fashion. Their cost was reasonable, their work was excellent, and their communication was even better! Every step of the way we were informed about the next day's project, when their staff would arrive and any adjustments in time that needed to be made. Their workers and sub -contractors were also very good. We enjoyed working with them and were very happy how the the bathroom turned out. We highly recommend them.

Excellent family run business. Jim and America Fischer were easy to work with and responsive to our concerns. Questions were answered quickly. America helped us choose tile and vanities. Quality of work is great. Details were addressed until we were satisfied. We did an extensive remodel with added footage. Project was completed in a timely manner.

It was truly AMAZING to work with OC Home Builders! From the very start, Jim and America were extremely responsive and flexible about our plans and goals for the kitchen reno (and were patient while we re-worked plans with our designer which greatly impacted the scope of the project). They offered great guidance for workarounds to fit our design goals and were knowledgeable and helpful throughout. It wasn't until we finalized all details and started the project that we could really appreciate the extent of the professionalism and communication - each person on the OC Home Builders team showed up to do their part as scheduled, we always knew what stage of the project we were in, and they were very conscious of keeping our house clean and the project contained (which was a major win because we continued living and working at home for the entire duration and I was extremely pregnant at the time.) We even added a few additional items to the overall project and they were clear about the pricing and timelines for those as well. There were never any negative surprises or "gotchas" with this team - and best of all, they finished ahead of schedule (on the day my water broke)!!! We are extremely happy with the results in our kitchen and look forward to working with OC Home Builders again when we tackle our next home project.

They did a great job, and started right away with the work. They were here almost everyday getting the job done and remained flexible with the changes I wanted as time went on. They really really wanted to make a nice finished product for me. As you can see from the photos the spaces were pretty beat up. It is now complete and very liveable.

My experience with OC Home Builders was excellent! They were on time each day, very professional, excellent workmanship and all at a fair price. I couldn't be happier with Jim's work and his team. His wife America was in constant communication with me each step of the way which was truly appreciated and lacking by others in this industry. I have used a handful of GC's and subs in the past, but have never re-hired them. However, I have already recommended OC Home Builders to a friend of mine and will absolutely be using them again myself in the future. Scope of work: They did an amazing job transforming and old closet with raised floors that use to house a furnace and turned it into a beautiful usable closet. They demoed the raised floors, door and drywall. then put in hardwood flooring, new drywall, a light, shelving, door frame, door, ceiling frame and paint. It turned out perfect! They also installed an attic drop down ladder in the garage to access the attic and installed electrical and lighting. It turned out better than I imagined.

Jim and America are amazing! We are so happy we found them. We did a complete kitchen remodel and bathroom refresh and OC Homebuilders was fantastic from beginning to end! America stays in close contact with you for the whole project and was very accessible to help with questions. The project was on time (amazing!) and the quality of work was fantastic. I work from home, so I had a lot of interaction with the crew, who was friendly and courteous and on-site all day everyday. We’ve had bad experiences in the past where crews only come for a few hours or skip a few days, significantly delaying the project, so we especially appreciated how dedicated everyone was to our project. We absolutely LOVE our kitchen and bathroom now and are so glad we had the chance to work with Jim and America!

You can't go wrong with Jim and America. The work is so professional and when the unexpected happens, they both jump in to fix it. Our bathroom plumbing for instance was not in good shape--corroded and clogged internally greatly restricting flow. Jim just jumped in and fixed it. When the cabinet-maker sent some incorrect parts, Jim made it work. America is amazing. You get a text letting you know when they'll be there and they actually show up on that day. She is very responsive to questions and concerns and basically just keeps everything running smoothly. Jim and America are straight-up people. They deliver what they promise and their prices are reasonable. I couldn't be happier, that's why we hired them not once, but twice to do the different projects in our home.
