About Us

From elegant estates and country houses to farmhouses and summer cottages, Neumann Lewis Buchanan Architects is known for creating houses of timeless character. Our practice was founded by David Neumann based on a passion for classical, traditional and vernacular architecture. We opened our first office in Washington DC in 1986, followed by our office in Middleburg, Virginia in 1989.
