Kitchen & Bath Galleries of Chapel Hill

My 2nd kitchen remodel with Kitchen & Bath Galleries of Chapel Hill. Robin McCarthy was on top of everything from the beginning to the end. She listened to the vision I had for the kitchen and she was able to come up with a plan that gave me more cabinet AND more counter top space!! She was also very good at communicating the process and keeping me up to date on what would be going on from week to week. She was also very helpful in deciding on color, sink decisions and hardware. I love my kitchen!

It has been a great experience working with Kitchen and Bath Galleries of Chapel Hill on the renovation of our kitchen. They worked with us through the entire process from design to completion. We hit some snags along the way due to various shortages and delays but they stayed focus on completing our as quickly and conveniently as possible. We would be happy to work with them again.

My wife and I decided we really needed to totally renovate the kitchen so we drew some rough concepts and went out to bid on the cabinets. K&B Galleries were the low bidder of five companies on the concept so we gave them a design deposit of $500 to take the design to detailed construction drawings. Robin, the designer, was very patient with us as we can be demanding having built homes in the past and my 40 years in the construction industry. The cabinets came on time and were professionally installed by their excellent trim carpenters. Installing kitchen cabinets is what I call forensic carpentry. They didn't rush but instead took their time to get it installed properly the first time. They dealt with uneven walls with unique solutions that they went over with us before proceeding. They even pointed out two doors that didn't meet their standards and ordered them replaced at no cost. They also added some shelves for us at no additional cost. They went out of their way to be sure it was perfect and it is. Our new kitchen is stunning. Lee of K&B helped us pick out the perfect appliances for us and has also gone out of his way to be sure we were happy with the units. We are. The appliance prices were the same or lower that we could find on the web. I highly recommend K&B Galleries.

James Ladd Relationship: Client Project Date: November 2020 We started a new home construction project and thought we had a pretty great kitchen plan of our own design. Boy were we wrong. After we met with Robin, we realized there were so many possibilities and improved functionality to be had for our new space. The whole process with Robin was efficient, cost effective, and most of all totally enjoyable. We are over the top pleased with our new kitchen, and are so glad we got Robin's help and did not go forward with our original plan!

Julie Bauer of Kitchen and Bath Galleries worked with us to choose and install new quartz counters, new sinks, and new faucets. Julie was an invaluable resource both before and during the project. She was a great consultant on color and style.. She also acted as the liaison with the vendor, as well as my eyes and ears when we were out of town during the project timeline. Julie was always cheerful and helpful, even when part of the installation did not go as planned. I enjoyed working with K&B Galleries and Julie, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Nick and his team at Kitchen and Bath in Chapel Hill did a wonderful job guiding us through a total kitchen renovation. Our home is over 100 years old and the new appliances, countertops and cabinets fit perfectly with the old hardwood kitchen floor and with the windows on which are on two sides of the kitchen. Nick’s team was very helpful in showing us options for each appliance, including a range of prices for each one and for showing us placement options. We are very satisfied with the results and highly recommend Kitchen and Bath.

Excellent team with great attention to detail. K&B came up with an excellent, well thought through design, and helped carry us through to the finish line. The staff is courteous and professional, and utlimately the kind of people you want to develop long term relationships with.
