I could not be more thrilled with the work that Liz and Mary Beth did to redo my living room! They were very respectful of my budget and the workers they hired did a fantastic job with no surprises. I especially appreciated them reusing and incorporating many pieces that I had already so the room still felt like home even tho it was a major change. The room had some major challenges like configuration and window treatments for a huge bay window that they effortlessly gave me multiple options on. Everything was of the highest quality and organized so that work happened over a two week period. Amazing- Like watching a home-tv show with the before and after. I couldn't be more pleased!

The Looms did an extraordinary job in selecting stunning colors which highlighted the unique blues, greens, pinks, whites and greys so distinctive to Nantucket Island. Nantucket Looms has an extensive knowledge of the furniture, carpeting and related industries which gives them the ability to identify and recommend items that are unique and of high quality. In working through our house, the Looms created fresh and singular looks for the bedrooms, living and dining areas and family spaces. Another exciting feature of working with Nantucket Looms was their ability to design and incorporate the handmade throws, blankets and rugs from their in-house weaving studios and artwork from local artists to accessorize and complement our home’s interior. Nantucket Looms is also well positioned and experienced in identifying and selecting special antique pieces to pair with and accent our home’s design and reflect the character and history of the island. Nantucket Looms did a superb job of identifying the costs upfront and meeting these projections with our project. They not only handled the design end, but they oversaw the furniture/accessory delivery and the installation process, including specialty painting, wallpaper, window treatments and carpeting, which was wonderful. We have been fortunate to collaborate with the Looms staff on a number of projects through the years. I recently stayed in an apartment that was designed and furnished by Nantucket Looms. Typically, I don't like to travel because the accommodations make me miss my own home. But, this Main Street apartment was so lovely and beautiful that I wish it was my home! Very soothing blues and greys throughout, a cozy mohair throw and cute nautical touches. I hope to stay there again soon.

Nantucket Looms continues to honor it's long history on Nantucket island with handlooms and crafts in a new and contemporary style. It is beautifully appointed, unique and fresh. It is my very favorite shop in Nantucket.
