We would like to state that we remain extremely proud of the work that we were able to accomplish with the Levenfeld’s home renovation over this unprecedented year, with the complications that COVID has implemented on our community, country and the world. The entire home was redesigned and renovated from head to toe, inside and out, including many structural repairs that were required. The quality of the finished product speaks for itself.

Mr. Levenfeld’s comments concerning Morrison’s Home Improvements seem both arbitrary and capricious based on the over 400 documented email correspondences, almost daily phone calls answered even nights and weekends, numerous conference calls and in-person meetings with the homeowner, since the beginning of his project. This in addition to the countless messages we have received from the homeowner attesting to the quality of the work, such as in his statement dated 8/1/2020 “…last night was the first night in the master. It is beautiful! We love everything about it and thank you for helping to make it a reality.”

Throughout construction, our staff maintained a professional and clean environment at all times, while adhering to Covid guidelines and regulations implemented by the State of Massachusetts and the CDC. The jobsite offered little to no storage, one-lane street parking, and only foot access to the home via a 50ft vertical incline. The homeowner’s decision to move into the property prior to the project’s completion, was never part of the original agreement; however, our company adapted, and we were able to accommodate Mr. Levenfeld’s request to move in during construction, hence construction material still on site. The majority of deadlines and budgets were maintained with exceptions to delivery of custom materials which were delayed beyond our companies control, and the numerous changes and job extras requested by the homeowner himself.

Contrary to his claims, communication is key to our business. You will not find another contractor in the area that has a fully staffed front office dealing with project demands and customer communications as we do. Project management was assigned, and site supervision was regular and documented. Morrison’s Home Improvements employs qualified project managers and foreman who oversee all aspects of each project and provide progress reports, pictures, and other documentation to the office daily to ensure quality service. Morrison’s employees as well as its reputable sub-contractors have contributed to the company’s success over the past 28 years.

Regarding the false and slanderous allegations concerning the company’s mark-up the homeowner refers to, this formulation is actually QuickBooks 2019 accounting program that calculates numbers appropriately and fairly, and in accordance with our signed contractual agreements stating these exact terms.
Morrison’s is happy to accept constructive criticism, but after further review into this customers response, we believe the customer is intentionally going out of his way to tarnish the reputation of our small local business, as he has copied and pasted this review onto 5 different social platforms. As a point of reference, Morrison's Home Improvement Specialist has been voted "Best Contractor in The Berkshires" by the readers of The Berkshire Eagle, for 5 years in a row. We have thousands of letters from satisfied customers over the course of nearly 30 years in business, praising our work and thanking us for a job well done. We work hard every day to make sure our customers are treated fairly and with respect.
