We hired MDM Scapes to create a comprehensive architectural design plan for both landscape and hardscape improvements to our property. This included front entry and courtyard with a putting green, backyard patio and pergola construction, as well as a fire pit, and BBQ. Frankie Mata (owner) and his team worked with us to design a plan incorporating the design features that we desired and prepared the architectural design plans for submission to both HOA and the County and handled all permit approvals. The finished results exceeded our expectations. Frankie and his project manager Hector were very professional and worked with us during construction to make modifications and changes as the work took shape as with any major project. Frankie continues to be very responsive post completion to take care of questions or anything that requires attention. My husband and I are very pleased with the results and are enjoying our newly landscaped property, thanks to the team at MDM.

This company did a great job remodeling my fireplace with El Dorado stone. I insisted on liability and workers comp insurance evidence because of my high ceilings and needing scaffolding. The crew showed up on time daily, were professional and left my home clean inside and out. The job took 4 days. There was minor touch up required, but the owner scheduled a time and came as promised. I live in a new community with many owners looking to add special effects to their homes. I felt so good about the project, I shared on my community FB page photos and offered to share the business info.

We have worked with various contractors and vendors over the past 1-2 years while doing a complete home renovation. We found Frankie through Houzz and were so impressed with his service and crew. Frankie did a ton of work at our Tustin home, including removing and repouring of the driveway. He also added a front patio and made a water friendly dry "mountain stream" yard with amazing LED landscape lighting. His work is excellent and he was helpful and patient with mid-project changes. We get many many compliments on the front yard and driveway area. We're hoping to use him for other projects in the future.

We selected MDM Masonry to help us with our back yard and side yard project, which included a large paver patio, sitting walls, low voltage lighting, gas lines and plumbing, as well as concrete and irrigation on the side yard. It took a little while to get the project started, but it was definitely worth the wait and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They really went above and beyond to help make our back yard vision a reality. After interviewing five contractors and hesitant to chose one, we met Frankie and were immediately confident with our decision to move forward with our landscaping project. I used MDM Masonry for my backyard project. We had them put in concrete, large "U"shaped bbq island, low voltage lighting, stacked stone, and a natural gas fire pit. Frankie and his crew were nothing short of excellent. They were professional, hard-working, skilled, and respectful. Frankie helped me a lot with things I didn't think about and was always in communication throughout the project. His crew was consistnently on time and aware of keeping the neighbors happy. MDM Masonry did our backyard about a year ago, and I've been meaning to sit down and write a review for the company and my experience with them. I can't tell you how much we like our backyard. Right now, I'm sitting around my fireplace in the late afternoon, listening to Van Morrison, and enjoy everything about our backyard. Frankie and his team did a great job. They were professional, easy to work with, and provided great advice throughout the whole process. We came into the process with MDM Masonry with a design from a landscape architect, and MDM Masonry was able to take that vision and translate it into a great design for the backyard. MDM is more than capable in doing masonry, of course, but also fountains and drip systems and anything else you'd want in your backyard. I can't be happier with the result. Frankie, Miguel and company did a great job redoing our driveway and the stonework on our house. They removed existing adobe bricks on the house, replaced them with ledger stone panels, demolished and removed existing concrete in the driveway, and replaced it with colored concrete and patterned flagstone. Frankie had lots of good ideas on the design side, and made sure the job got done right and looked good, even down to the punch list.

I cannot speak highly enough of MDM Masonry. They are professional and the quality of their workmanship is excellent. They provide you with an accurate estimate in a timely manner. MDM Masonry also suggested LED Lighting Fixtures that were less expensive and more durable for my residential project. They show up ON TIME and are neat and work efficiently. They go above and beyond in unforeseen situations which may necessitate remediation. Issues that may come up such as mold or algae are dealt with professionally. Potential concerns that may arise in the future are discussed amicably with no "hard sales" pitch. As the consumer, you can be assured that the quality and workmanship is unparalleled and will be reasonably priced.

We had a modest patio, planters, firepit and brickwork job done early in 12015. MDM Masonry was by far the best and easiest contractor I have ever worked with. When asked Frank offered affordable alternatives and practical advice that paid huge dividends in the end. The work was done quickly and quietly. The crew was very respectful and reliable. The job site was neat and clean at all times. Modifications done on the fly were seamless and I could not be happier with the outcome. MDM Masonry, Inc was recommended to us by multiple friends that had great experiences with this home remodeling business. We were looking for a mason to change our patio fountain into a fireplace and also add additional stonework to the front of our house. Not big jobs, but in both cases the new work being done had to match up with the existing work that was already in place. They did a seamless job and even we cannot tell where the patchwork had been done. Frank listened to my ideas about what I wanted and then came back with detailed sketches of what he recommended. It was just what I wanted. The workmen worked from early morning until late. They were very neat and tidy about everything. Blasting stone and cement was quite dusty and dirty. They put up protective sheeting, hosed down everything when done and even washed our windows. They power washed the end result to perfection. We couldn't have been more pleased. We highly recommend this company. Five Stars!!!!!!!!!!

After meeting with 5 different companies, I choose MDM to do the project - which was installing a sidewalk and retaining wall. I selected Frankie for the job because of his knowledge of concrete work, his professionalism in his dealings with me, and his estimate for the job. Very fast response. They took out the front sidewalk in front of my house quickly (2 hours) and disposed of the concrete slabs in a really big truck early on a Saturday morning (7:30am). They came on time and had all the safety equipment. I used them to ready a new ADA concrete walkway.

We were recommended to MDM Masonry by friends who had work done by them. We met with the owner, Frankie Mata and were impressed with his knowledge of everything from masonry, irrigation, amending the soil and planting. We had plans drawn up to get bids from different contractors and although not the lease expensive, Frankie without a doubt had the most knowledge and was someone we felt we could trust. He is hands on and has an experienced crew. They showed up everyday with the exception of a few rain days. When we accepted his bid, he commented that we would be happy with his work and he did not disappoint us.

Frankie and his crew did a great job on a stacked stone remodeling on the front of our home. Frankie was very helpful in initial consultation. We purchased the stone from Thompson's in Orange and they also highly recommended MDM and Frankie (they did most of the displays). Frankie's crew was very courteous, arrived promptly every day, worked fast and cleaned up at end of work day. They even washed down my driveway and garage after final cleanup. I highly recommend Frankie and his team for any masonry work. All of my neighbors can't believe the transition. Frankie/MDM will be getting a lot of business on our block, I am sure! Next up is a BBQ area and paver patio. MDM will be our choice!

Frankie was highly recommended to us by our general contractor to work on the stone veneer of our home. We were very impressed by the quality of his work and his work ethic! In addition to exterior stone veneer work, Frankie was amazing in figuring out how to place the stone on the ceiling of an arched wine cellar. If we ever need stone work done again, we would definitely have MDM Masonry back!

Frankie and his crew did a great job building a courtyard and firepit for us. He is professional, knowledgable and delivered all work as promised. We are very happy with the job he did!

Frankie exceeded our expectations. This was a small two day job putting on a precast concrete mantel and facing our new fireplace with cut stone. He listened to what we wanted and gave us good suggestions on how he would do it if it were his home but put no pressure on us to follow his suggestions. We are very pleased with the final product and will certainly consider him on doing our next project.

MDM Masonry did an excellent job installing stack stone over our old brick fireplace and stone tile on the bath floor, wainscotting in the bath and splash in our new kitchen. They were professional, cleaned up properly at the end of each day and creative with the stack stone installation. When I had a few things I requested changed, they were right on it. A job well done.

mdm masonry did an excellent job for what they were contracted to do. They textured the walls of my backyard and matched them perfectly with the walls of my home. They then capped the walls with original used brick. The crew was hardworking and cleaned up as best as they could daily. This is the third contract I've had with mdm masonry and I've been completely satisfied with each job

I hired Frankie at MDM Masonry to do my hardscape, landscaping, and outdoor lighting. I had travertine installed throughout my entire exterior and balconies, led lights installed throughout my yard, and my entire landscaping redone. He's very knowledgable about travertine and will answer any questions or concerns you have about which stone to use for your property. His work exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be more pleased. He is a perfectionist and made sure I was completely happy with all the work he completed. He works very hard and is easily one of the best contractors I've hired.
