Lakota Builders was founded in 1995 by Michael and Nicole Davis. Michael has over twenty years of carpentry experience, which inspired him to start his own company. The Lakota company was modeled after a Sioux branch of Native Americans of North Dakota called the Lakota. The Lakota Indians were well known for their hand made goods and they took great pride in their creations. The Lakota Indians felt a little of their spirit stayed with each beautiful item they made, ensuring the Lakota ways would be preserved. Michael Davis feels similarly about his work. I know Mike had a lot of jobs in the area because of a Tornado in May but he came through for me in my home. I got the referral from my neighbor, who also was quit satisfied.

Currently on my second renovation project managed by Lakota Builders, a small master bath. First, it was great that Mike would accept a small project and still give it complete attention. He met with me early on at a tile supplier to help choosing the shower and floor tile which is the center piece of the bath. His team did a terrific job of demolition minimizing the mess and getting beyond that unpleasantness quickly. Work has progressed at a nice steady pace and the new is looking awesome. I am and will be very pleased with the final product and would certainly recommend Mike and his team.
