Matt is a Visionary! My husband and I always dreamed of building a custom home that reflected our personalities and interests. Matt flawlessly guided us through the process by genuinely listening, fully explaining the building process and answering all of our many questions. His artful suggestions gave us new insight on designs we never thought of! He is truly proud of what he does and builds quality homes. Matt is a down to earth guy and is a family man, as well!

My home makeover project was a complete success and I'm grateful to Matt and his team. I quickly realized that I was getting design recommendations as well as quality contractor services from Matt and that proved to be valuable. His ideas for my oversized foyer and the master bath created cozy spaces with style and elegance. I was a bit skeptical in the necessity for pure white for all the ceilings, but that in combination with the crown molding really came together for a clean, modern look. So my advice...listen to his suggestions. Matt is a great communicator, easy to reach, and always prompt for meetings. His team were courteous, diligent, flexible, and hard-working. I generally do not write reviews and I apologize upfront for its length. I was visiting a model home, when the actual builder of the home, Matt Coyner, walked in. My husband and I were already in a contract with another builder but when I meet Matt Coyner and as crazy as this may sound, I knew that somehow, someway he would be the one building our house. Lo and behold, my husband and I were able to get out of our original contract with our then current builder because they were not able to deliver something they promised us. Matt Coyner of Coyner Construction is a custom builder and to be honest we had never even considered having a custom home built but like I said before the moment I meet Matt I knew he was the one. However, before we move forward let us take you a step back in hindsight. When we were under our first contract with our previous builder, we were limited on the changes or modifications to the floor plans and those changes that they did allow us to make came at a cost. Heck, the builder would not even allow a meeting with the design center until after we were under contract and boy was that meeting a costly one. To be honest, as I stated, again in hindsight, our first experience with the first builder was not a great experience for us. Okay let me move forward. So here, we are under a new contract with Matt Coyner of Coyner Construction building our custom home. Did it cost more? “Not really.” We say that because when we factor what we would have paid for our house under the first contract versus the cost of our new home with Coyner Construction, we get more bang for our buck going custom. Let me give you some numbers so you can see how we made that conclusion: First Contract 365K; Coyner Custom Contract $415K equals a difference of $50K (more). This 50K (more) difference is still less than what we would have paid over the course of the next few years to get our house exactly the way we wanted, with all of the things we wanted. Things such as a screened in porch, extra windows added, converting upstairs to man cave, bedrooms with en suite bathroom access and of course my “She-shed.” By the way, the first builder stated that they could not add a She-shed to the house design. It addition to the cost to get what we wanted we would have had to endure dealing with the additional construction headaches. At Coyner Construction, the staff are professional; they use quality material and strive to ensure that the construction of your home is solid and well built. Matt is hands on, patient, friendly and really helps you design your home based on the conversations you have with him regarding your needs and wants. He has gone above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. He is so honest and straight forth. I was also impressed when I spoke to some of his previous clients because the ALL spoke very highly of Matt, his company and the quality of his work. He is committed to building a solid quality custom home. Right now Coyner Construction is in the process of completing the framing and roofing of our custom home so I will provide you all an update later. At this point, my husband and I could not be happier with the process we experienced in designing our home and the in-progress experiences of building our custom home with Matt Coyner of Coyner Construction.

We love our Coyner built home and would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a contractor for a new home or remodel project. We've lived in our Coyner home for 6 years and still love the quality home we received. We hired Matt a 2nd time to make the repairs to our home after it was hit by lightening a couple years ago. Working through repairs while living in the house was as smooth as the building process. He kept us in the loop with what was happening, when we could expect work to be completed and the sub contractors actually showed up on time! Matt is a custom builder so you can show him the pinterest or houzz picture you have been dreaming of and he will help you make it work in hour home. His experience is invaluable when trying to choose beautiful and quality finishes on any project. We still recommend Coyner Co today after years in our house.

We just moved into our new home built by Coyner Construction. From beginning to end this was a great experience. Matt is very honest about everything. He has passion for building homes and it truly shows in his work. We highly recommend him and his company for any building or remodeling.
