I truly have nothing but great things to say about Mark and Michael and the professional and fun job that they guided us through. These guys listen, they follow through and they care about what's important to us. They most certainly made a daunting project come to life in the least painful way possible... truth be told I do not want to go through this process again, but if I did? Mark and Michael would be standing right next to me!

Our project was a major remodel practically the entire house was rebuilt (with 2-3 walls left) due to fire. Michael S at MHD was assigned to our project and performed exceptionally. He has a knack for taking what we envision and creating plans spot on to our design intent. He helped us pick various design elements that are consistent with a modern farm house home. The turn around town for his work was days not weeks and his personal and professional demeanor is a welcome surprise. We would love to work with Michael and MHD again in the future.

Mark was great from the beginning of the process. We had an existing structure that we wanted to convert into an ADU. Mark worked with us through the programming and then worked with the city to develop a design that met all of their requirements. Some of the city departments were very difficult to work with and Mark keep on it and after 6 months we got it through! One of Mark's best attributes is his turn around time on design suggestions, construction drawings and revisions as needed by the city comments. We highly recommend Mark and will work with him again on any future projects that we might dream up!

Mark checked with the city for the latest building codes and provided the drawings on time. Mark would answer my calls many times.

Mark offered us first class architectural services from the moment we made contact. He detailed his services and the process clearly, and was quick to answer questions as they came up. His design talents are truly brilliant and he presented us with a number of creative options to fully explore the potential in our house. He was willing to edit the designs and find a solution we all love. Mark designed a new kitchen and a room addition for us; both are great.

In 2014 my daughter and her husband purchased a house in Livermore which had a 900 sq ft shop that we wanted to transform into a home for my husband and I. Mark Molinar was the architect who transformed my graph paper design of a new home into the plans that enabled the builders to construct my dream. He took my ideas and transformed them into a plan that satisfied the building requirements of the city and he guided the plans through the building department bureaucracy. When he was fiished he recommended several builders with whom he had had positive experience and one of them did a great job of following those plans to produce a home that delights us.

Mark Molinar was exceptional. We will hire him again when the opportunity returns. Mark is an excellent listener and designed all the design features that were our priorities. He is very knowledgeable and patient and helped with every question asked. He is very responsive when there are questions. If there were a grading scale, I would give Mark an A++ for his professionalism.

Mark Molinar performed architectural services for our residential remodel project, which included an enlarged and remodeled master bathroom, various modifications such as bay window and cabinetry/storage solutions, and an enclosed front yard patio with entry arch feature. Mark was easy to work with--always courteous and professional. His work was top-notch and delivered on-time. The paperwork involving scope of work, contract and payment schedule were straight-forward. In a potentially stressful situation such as residential remodel work, where you're trying to achieve the "home of your dreams" with the least amount of time and expense, Mark helped ease the process for us. My husband and I highly recommend Mark for residential architectural work!

I moved to the new house yesterday. It was designed by Mark Molinar. I am glad to have him as my architect. The house was designed on a contemporary clean looking with functional spaces. He is a nice person to work with and is very patient to any of my question.

We used Mark to redesign the interior of our 60s ranch style home. We were impressed! He listens, he is thorough, he is patient! He met with us to discuss our ideas, drew up plans, made changes (and made changes again!), consulted an engineer, double-checked our town's building codes and created a plan that we are excited to work with. He is easy to communicate with via text, email or phone and always got back to us promptly. He is very easy and comfortable to work with. We definitely recommend him!

Mark Designed 2 custom houses (approximately 2500 sq.ft. Each) for my project. the house plans flows very well and make use of all possible square footage(no dead space). It has nice architectural features both interior and exterior. Mark is knowledgable and professional. Very quick response to all City's review comments and customer's question. Willing to go out of his ways beyond what the contract says to help.

I hired Mark to design an addition to my house. He is the consummate professional. He listens carefully to your ideas, gives his brilliant suggestions when asked (which were always spot on), is on time, finishes plans when he says they'll be ready, guides you through the permit process and is readily available when you need him. If you change your mind on certain aspects of your project, he is very accommodating. I give Mark the highest recommendation, as he handled our project seamlessly in every aspect.

We worked with Mark to design our new home. He spent the time with us to understand what we wanted. He incorporated our needs and requirements into various plan options and provided us with information on costs, pros and cons, etc. We had a very complicated project - Mark took the initiative to lead us through the planning a design process, acting at times as a project manager and presenting the plan to the city, other engineers and representing us when needed. He was very easy to work with and very professional. Building a custom home has significant challenges - Mark's help was instrumental in getting the project completed on time.
