Lucienne helped us redesign our three bathrooms (two full and an ensuite) with careful consideration of our budget (not huge), timeline, and long-term needs (including two growing kids and aging parents who visit often). She acted as an invaluable resource for every part of the process, including finding contractors and suppliers, using our small spaces to the best advantage, choosing cost-effective yet stylish materials, and toning down my over-enthusiastic colour and accessory choices with gentle but firm suggestions. We will definitely be hiring her again when we tackle our 80's kitchen in a few years.

Lucienne from Luminary did a fabulous job with the design of our kitchen and house renovation. This project had a lot of challenges as we were adding on to an existing older home. Lucienne helped the contractor with the interior and exterior construction design. I found that she was able to include all of my ideas and give me great new ones for color and design. We are overjoyed with the end result of our project and will be using her expertise in future projects. We would highly recommend Lucienne as a very creative and professional Designer. We were fortunate to have Lucienne work with us for our bathroom/bedroom renovations. She had a positive and gentle manner that guides you through all aspects of the design process yet she is firm and confident in her ability to deal with contractors and other professionals involved in the project. She is very knowledgeable and detail orientated. When I had an issue with an mirror installation she dropped what she was doing to come to the house and ensure that I was getting what we had planned on. Lucienne is now helping us with our living room renovation and our basement upgrade that will start in a few months.

We have worked with Luminary Design on 2 projects and could not have been happier with the results thus far. One was a condo floor plan redesign which included design ideas such as cabinet choices, layout and color schemes. The second project is a house renovation which is currently ongoing. Luminary Design has drawn up several floor plan redesigns for us to consider and is helping us once again with design choices for flooring, cabinets, lighting... Lucienne's design knowledge, creativity, professional and personable approach has been outstanding and it has been a great pleasure working with her. We highly recommend Luminary Design.

Lucienne has done several design jobs for our home and cabin. We start with a meeting to discuss our ideas. I have a few ideas, my wife has a few ideas, and we both have a long list of concerns. After Lucienne has done her design "magic", we are both consistently surprised to see that both our ideas are accounted for and all of our concerns are addressed. A good set of plans allow our project to progress much faster and without as many costly changes/interruptions. Luminary Design is our answer to solving our design problems. I didn't know my designs were rough until Lucienne started showing us her sketches and designs. Money spent on this early phase of the project is money well spent. Lucienne can move/add/remove a wall on paper for pennies before it becomes a very expensive design error.

Evoke Cabinets

We have supplied cabinetry and millwork for Luminary Design on several occasions, and each time Lucienne has been a pleasure to work with. Great concepts and ideas, the final result is always beautiful while still being practical. We look forward to working with Luminary Design again in the future.
