Loves Painting Edmonton

We have an old bay window, which I tried to strip and repaint myself. After 3 days, I realized I was in waaaaay over my head and needed a professional -- and Loves Painting got the job done! Mitch was able to fill in the scratches I had made, remove the rest of the old paint, and one coat of primer + 2 coats of paint later, the window looks wonderful! And, the price was less than the original quote! I would hire Mitch again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Mitch at Love's Painting has done both interior and exterior painting for us in Edmonton. I also have a 1904 two story heritage house in BC and was planning to have the exterior painted. I asked him half-seriously if he would be interested in the project and to my surprise the answer was yes. It turns out he often paints properties outside of the city, and is well-equipped to travel even as far as Vancouver Island to do a project. Because this is a heritage house, it had to pass inspection by two experts, one a credentialed master painter (MPDA), the other a heritage architect, and the process went very smoothly. Mitch is very good at making a plan and following through with great attention to detail. Highly recommended

We chose Loves Painting to paint the exterior of our mid-century bungalow after getting four estimates. Mitch listened and understood what we wanted, and gave us what we judged to be a reasonable and comprehensive estimate that left no room for surprises. While I was still pondering options for paint colours for the cedar siding and window and door trim, I appreciated both his patience and his expert advice on which would work best. They scheduled the painting several weeks in advance, and he and his co-worker showed up and got our project done as promised. They were a pleasure to work with, and when we get around to painting the interior of our house I will definitely be contacting Mitch again.

Now I just need to find a guy like Mitch who does plumbing, electrical, foundation work, carpentry, roofing, and masonry, because it's tough to find quality contractors. This company underestimated our paint job, so then started cutting corners. We found paint smeared on door hinges, paint on hardwood floor, hardened paint spots on baseboards and Moulding's that weren’t brushed out. There were many more discrepancies along the way we had him redo. We would not use him again due to the job he provided. Not a high end painter, or has any attention to detail. Rushes.

Mitch is a very professional and knowledgeable tradesman with exemplary work ethics, that I feel is very reliable and conscientious. From the time I requested an estimate until completion of the project, Mitch was very prompt and reliable. Within a couple of day of requesting an estimate he made himself available and then again within a couple of days he presented me with an estimate. Once I made the decision to go with Love's Painting and contacted him he scheduled the work to start within two weeks. He arrived on time and within a week he painted my townhouse including ceilings, baseboards and trim as well as the front and back decks. He took the time to patch and sand were necessary prior to painting. He was very helpful in that he moved furniture and returned those items to heavy for me to move. He was extremely neat and tidy and at the end of each day he cleaned and stored his supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. At all times he was extremely professional and answered all and any questions about products and methods used in his work. He completed the work in the time frame provided in the estimate and completed the work with no extra charges. I would not hesitate to recommend Mitch to family, friends and acquatiances.
